Too much individual glory hunting from this Senegalese side.

It seems he is indeed still not out of Bruno's pocket.

Remember NFF got $4m just last year when we finished 2nd..
Now they'll get $2.5 for 3rd place.
Tomorrow dem go open mouth say NFF is broke..
They've been selling this false narrative for years, while they loot and embezzle these funds

Attacking through the wings, especially through Mane's wing has pegged Hakimi back, hence automatically nullifying any threat Diaz would have posed.

Morocco is also a strong team.

Kudos to Bruno he really work hard to keep Hakimi silent throughout the game Morocco is beatable ..I strongly believe if our coach made the right substitution Nigeria might have won . Ejuke or Chukueze coming on time to make runs and cross ball but coach brought in Moses Simon and Bashiru as a winger. Bashiru okay but Moses Simon was not right substitution. The coach appears not sure of his reserve bench he prefers to used " Established players "He kept playing Ekong which cause blunders against SA and Zimbabwe. The coach should play most fitted players not names

If we had used the wings more against Morocco, we would have beaten them. Hope Chelle is watching for next time and more dynamism in our approach to games.
Make una keep quiet abeg
Until them wipe Senegal 2:0 or 2;1, before una appreciate Chelle work

It's easy to criticize from the outside, when you get in...you will see it's not so easy. NFF is basically borrowing from Peter to pay Paul. The $2.5m you mentioned has already being swallowed by expenses. Recall bonuses were renegotiated at the AFCON. NSC will advance the funds but the NFF has to retire said Advanced funds to balance the books.

That was a gruelling match for them
This is the main reason they've not peppered Senegal yet

substitution is the only area that Chelle will have to improve on. If you talk now they'll say a certain winger comes in to help the team to defend, but against Morocco we needed to score a goal to win that game.

It appears the Senegalese have the best midfield on the continent. Morocco has struggled to stifle their forward transitions.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 9:02pm On Jan 18
The biggest observation for me is how the ref has managed to keep things on fine equilibrium and not obstructed Senegal's plays with silly 50-50 calls only in favor of the host. It is a final. Keep it fair. Keep it balanced. Let whoever will be Champs earn it for real.

Morocco is yet to have a shot on target. If it was Dan Laryea, they would have 2 by now.

My brother you nailed it . Cheille has done well but substitution pattern is not yet there . His Plan B is always to bring in Moses Simon

Senegal and Morocco both defending very well and creating chances/ shooting opportunities.

This is arguable. A midfield of Ndidi, Onyeka and Iwobi can go toe to toe with any midfield in Africa.

See how Senegal beat the Moroccan press in that half...move the ball fast and run at them in quick overloads and transitions, we needed runners against them (Ejuke, Chukwueze even Fago ), Onyedika was a BAD choice to replace Ndidi, he dwelled too much on the ball and back-passed a lot when under pressure.

Senegal definitely watched our tactical mistakes and learned from it, though I feel they will tire out at some point and lose this game and title by 1 nil

Simon will be doing us all a great service if he retires as soon as possible..
Almost 90 caps for the national team and just 10 goals..
His style of play is so predictable..
One moment, he is Messi, another moment, he is Simon

Yeah apart from that foul against mane and another 50-50 chance call against Senegal the ref was descent in the first half. Hope things remain so in the second half and we don’t begin to see spirits 😂
