Why didn’t we get this kind of refereeing during our match? It’s sad that CAF and Morocco turned what should have been an exciting game into something else.

Simon will be doing us all a great service if he retires as soon as possible..
Almost 90 caps for the national team and just 10 goals..
His style of play is so predictable..
One moment, he is Messi, another moment, he is Simon
Hahaha 🤣 he will not retire o

Remember NFF got $4m just last year when we finished 2nd..
Now they'll get $2.5 for 3rd place.
Tomorrow dem go open mouth say NFF is broke..
They've been selling this false narrative for years, while they loot and embezzle these funds
I think the earning is cumulative, so they are likely earning more than 2.5M.
CAF said, "if a team goes all the way (the winner), it can reach a maximum total of 11.6 million USD, adding bonuses from each stage of the tournament"

A good observation. The level of refereeing today compared to what we witnessed in the 🇳🇬🇲🇦 game is as far as the east is from the west. Let he who think hast a strong team prove it onfield with no ref favors.

The teams that made the semi finals of this AFCON are the most in form teams currently and should be representing Africa in the world cup.

How Lamine Camara has been coming from the bench for Sunderland's Habib Diarra is quite interesting. I can't categorically say Diarra is better to be honest even though he has been one of Pape Thiaw's choices to start in Senegal's 3 man midfield.

If not for Diarra's yellow card suspension in the semis vs Egypt, Lamine wont start today yet he looks so comfortable because he is no new face to Senegal midfield duties. Over 15 NT starts from 28 caps before today yet he is 22.

It is a testament to Senegal's midfield depth and quality. Senegal has a deeper midfield pool in Europe than any African nation I know. CIV comes close too.

I hope our coaches can make bold substitutions . Senegal making three changes at once .

Truidstarr:
It's easy to criticize from the outside, when you get in...you will see it's not so easy. NFF is basically borrowing from Peter to pay Paul. The $2.5m you mentioned has already being swallowed by expenses. Recall bonuses were renegotiated at the AFCON. NSC will advance the funds but the NFF has to retire said Advanced funds to balance the books.
Bruh NFF need to get off their dirty behinds and work

Success attracts. Preparation to succeed attracts.

Chukwueze in Hot Waters for Mocking His Teammates for Being Committed Despite Unpaid Allowances

A video has emerged of an interaction between Super Eagles player, Chukwueze and his teammates ahead of the match against Morocco at the ongoing Nations Cup.

In the viral clip, Chukwueze was seen mocking his teammates, Nwabali and Bassey, for risking their bodies to play despite unpaid allowances and bonuses.

In the clip, Nwabali said, “I never see anything,” and Chukwueze replied: “Una get mind sha o, you haven’t seen your money and you were defending with your life and delaying the time, you even almost inj¥red your knee.”

Many Nigerians are now criticizing him over his statement and linking it to his missed penalty kick during the match against Morocco.

They are claiming the video exposes a lack of respect for teammates’ commitment.

While this shows lack of patriotism, it also highlights the many successes our country will have achieved if our administrators were patriotic.
