I thought Morocco loss would make me happy, but if anything it has made me more depressed. I can never feel comfortable celebrating another country's victory. It should have been us in the final. Congrats to Senegal all the same. We now look forward to the WAFCON, and hopefully the World Cup if the case goes through.
It was a victory for justice and fairness.

Omo, the Egyptians would have a field day today and for the next weeks

It's going to be a long night for Moroccans

Expect worse officiating in the women's AFCON
They will still lose.

DIAZ threw that penalty away on purpose... Kudos to him..Coz It's the most logical thing to do at that point.

😅😅😅😅😅

My brother, they don't

I tell any Nigerian that ARABS don't like blacks

I don't take their support for face value. They see blacks as slaves. See what Algeria did to ishowspeed. An influential person for that matter

They think they are superior genetically to blacks and to the white man, there's no difference between a black and an Arab

😅😅😅
Na Senegalese supporters I dey pity. How dem go take leave that stadium. Those Maghrebians are the worst people to deal with as a black man. After tomorrow, anybody staying there will have themselves to blame.

Injustice from R16 was too glaring. Morocco is a good team. What I don't understand is why they had to resort to ref help in every game.
Tanzania didn’t get their penalty
Horrible officiating in this tournament
Morocco has set bad examples in this tournament

My brother, we can only hope

But I've lost faith in fairness on football

If Congo cheated, it shouldn't have taken FOFA this long to announce it
.as I said, we can only hope
How long did it take to land the hammer on Guinea Equatorial cos of Emilio Nsue?

Whatever the case, I'm not expecting a 100% positive result. But the facts available are convincing enough that the case could go either way to me. If it doesn't go our way, then no issue.

Senegal stop DRC from qualifying directly. CAF appoints a ref from DRC to officiate Senegal's match.

CAF appoints Ghanaian, Nigeria eternal rival for Nigeria's match.

And both ref deliver as expected shocked
why people especially Nigerians think it fair is what I don't understand.....Conebol will never hire a Brazilian referee In an agentina game, euros will never hire a Serbian referee in a Croatia game,a Ukrainian referee in a Russia game,or a Armenia referee in a Azerbaijan game,.......infact euros try as much as possible to avoid all this nations playing each other,....it common sense,we only see this kind of nonsense in Africa....were a Ghanaian and a south African was hired to officiate a Nigerian game

Sadio Mane and a couple of this Golden Generation of Senegalese stars that also won the Afcon in 2021 collect their 2nd Afcon title. Senegal's 2nd in their history too.

Senegal once again head to the FIFA World Cup as African Champs for the 2nd time. Congrats Legendary Lions of Teranga.

Senegal are the best team in Africa.

They played without fear or respect. Nigeria gave too much respect to Morocco in hindsight. I believe the SE grow will from this.
Our midfield sold that match. You see how they Senegalese midfield operated with agility? Tactical awareness?
That's what we need in that middle and we lack it. We need a leader who inspires players like Sadio Mane in that team.

They had an agenda

It was clear.

They know this. But they wanted Morocco to advance by all means as a "compensation"

dey play..

He lost it because he was not the best to take it psychologically. you cheated.. players left the pitch, and now you have the burden to score whily your conscience dey worry you. His mind could not pick a spot, so he shot at the middle hoping the keeper will dive out of desperation. That is what happened.

Tactical awareness didn’t win any match today. Madness won it.

No tactical awareness would have won this match for Senegal if they didn’t go berserk and it has justified indeed Nigeria was robbed. You can’t spin this lai lai

Senegal has an ideology and that ideology is helping them to grow. They have diverse cultures but they all speak the same language, BAMBARA. They have one of the best democracy in Africa. And they are most honest people I've come across. They always think home wherever they are and their kids MUST learn the values and cultural backgrounds where their parents from. This ideology is what is making them have the best of the best mostly in sports. An indigenous coach who knows in out of his national team.

Morocco lost the WAFCON Finals against South Africa in 2022 by 2 goals to 1.

Morocco lost the WAFCON Finals against Nigeria in 2025 by 3 goals to 2.

Morocco lost the WAFCON Finals against Senegal in 2026 by 1 goal to Nil.

Morocco will do everything possible to win this year's WAFCON in March. Nigeria Super Falcons or South Africa will stop them again.

Win fair and Square.
CAF is doing everything possible to compensate Morocco for hosting tournaments.
Politics in African football must stop.
CAF president, Dr Patrice Motsepe must know that the whole world is watching.

You see why Afcon is not highly regarded by top football professionals and administrators.

Late Caf President, Isa Hayatou did Nigeria dirty, notably in AFCON 1988 and 2000.

The present CAF president is doing everything possible to favour Southern Africa, notably is the U-17 qualification format...

Corruption is rife in African football.

Walking off the pitch is "not a good look for African football". Cheating the entire tournament is though.

then don’t owe them, pay them.

All this talk of bleed this that, no one will bleed for you if you can’t do the basic.

Pay your players, pay your coaches stop eating their money . Stop excusing corruption stop excusing mediocrity on the blackmail of fake patriotism, show patriotism by actually taking care of those who bleed for you, smaller countries are not even this embarrassing.

Set up structures, build stadiums, get infrastructure, not hoping on the players so it every time on their, come to camp with their own money, stay in low budget hotels.

I'm still finding it hard to believe what happened in today's final. Praise be to God for shutting up those Moroccan snakes and the puppet referees under their control.

Are your politicians or those in top position in government ready to bleed and die for the green and white? Even our military, most are not ready. If we are to demand strong patriotism it should be from the top and narrow down.
