Chukwueze looks like a talkative and I dislike talkatives.

When you talk too much it gets to a point where you stop making sense.

Honestly, for this kind of statement Chukwueze needs to be banned for life in any national assignment or honor. No wonder the rubbish penalty kick against Morocco.

He was sober, Chukwueze wasn't, very non-challant. He knew the money will eventually be paid anyhow, not when the damage has been done.

Chukwueze and Primate Elijah Ayodele are unpatriotic elements, they are very dangerous to Nigeria 🇳🇬

Stop being petty, plain st*p*d and tribalistic . I'm Yoruba and I defended Chuckwueze with all my strength after that penalty miss. Some persons can't even face 5 people for presentation but are criticizing the innocent boy.
This was after the Algeria match though. He jokes a lot

Don't ask Nairaland members for contact details (email, phone, bbpin) or investments.
You should ask yourself did Nigeria happen overnight?

I am not usually comfortable when we inject tribalism into issues especially sports. We all know this is one event out of so many that at least gives us some sense of unity. Chukweze's body language while playing the penalty kick clearly validates what he said before the game. I am not supporting whatever body was responsible for their payment or delaying their payment but we have had players in the past who did us proud. This just concluded AFCON was Nigeria bound until we lost to Morocco.
We should call a spade a spade chukweze's penalty was an off the guy no try abeg
Re: Chukwueze In Hot Waters For Mocking His Teammates For Being Committed by RockyEyo(m): 8:00am On Jan 19
It's a cultural mindset that hunts almost if not everyone of us Nigerians. What he fails to understand is we are a country with over 200million people and twenty plus or thirty of you were chosen and given an opportunity, a platform, to show your level of skill, patriotism etc. And all you can think of and complain about is a few drops of water
Need I say that there are a lot of people that are better skilled and would be willing to play even without a payment.
We see them every other day on streets, playing with so much passion, yet we that get the opportunity all we do I complain about every nd anything be it intangible.....

In the viral clip, Chukwueze was seen mocking his teammates, Nwabali and Bassey, for risking their bodies to play despite unpaid allowances and bonuses.

In the clip, Nwabali said, "I never see anything," and Chukwueze replied:
"Una get mind sha o, you haven't seen your money and you were defending with your life and delaying the time, you even almost inj¥red your knee."

Many Nigerians are now criticizing him over his statement and linking it to his missed penalty kick during the match against Morocco.

They are claiming the video exposes a lack of respect for teammates' commitment.
Those criticising him for highlighting Tinubu's failure to pay allowances and bonuses must be confirmed Stockholm syndrome sufferers.

Anyone doubts that his critics are permanent members of the 200 million mumus huh

fuckJones:
(A case study of Nigeria citizens & their elected oppressors).

During the Soviet dictatorship of Joseph stalin. He was a brutal dictator with mind of his own. On one fateful day, stalin came to Politburo meeting with a live chicken. Standing in front of audience, He started to pluck the feathers of the live chicken off one by one. The chicken trembled in pain, blood tricking out of its pores. It gave out grievous cries, but stalin being a cruel dictator continued without remorse plucking the feathers out until the chicken was completely Unclad. After which, he threw the chicken on the ground. The Unclad chicken was staggering in pain. stalin goes into his pocket and from his pockets, he took out some chicken food and started to throw it at the poor & hapless creature. The poor chicken in pain started eating and stalin started walking towards his seat. As he walked away, he kept dropping some feeds on the floor & the chicken followed him and sat feeding from his feet.

Joseph stalin then turned to members of his political party leadership. He said, "This chicken represents the people". "You must disempower them, brutalise them, beat them up, starve them and then leave them". "If you do this, go into your pocket & give them peanuts when they are in that helpless and desperate situation, they will blindly follow you for the rest of their life, worshiping you". "They will think you are a hero forever. They will forget that, you're responsible for their sorrowful situation in the first place." Breath taking, isn't it ?

Now! Take a look at all the people some Nigerians are busy defending on social media. Take a look at those they call their heroes. They are the same people who plunged Nigeria into the situation she is. They are the same people who are responsible for their predicaments. Did you see the numbers of people that throng to Saraki's House during this Sallah period to go collect peanuts? People trooping to Bola Ahmed Tinubu Foundation offices to collect branded One kilo bag of Rice & Noddles. Did you see the number of people of all ages who troop out to welcome Ex- convict James Ibori to South South! Do you see the number of handle mop following obi as if he is a seat? what of the one following dino malaye?

Your guess is as good as mine. Nigerians kill those they should defend and defend those they should kill! Pass to all your contacts & let your Political & Religion Leaders read, understand & digest.

Have you answered yourself if Nigeria got worse overnight since Tinubu packaged his 2011 expired Buhari as APC change messiah huh

Did he not make us swap 16 years of PDP deregulation and privatisation prosperity policies for APC extreme poverty shege of palliative sharing progreThief policies?

Nemere2020:
The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy Chief Olawale Edun has said the last time Nigeria’s economy looked stable was about a decade ago.

He made this statement during his maiden press conference as Minister of Finance where he outlined President Bola Tinubu’s vision, agenda and strategy for the economy.

He said, “I think as we all know, we are not where we should be. The economy is barely growing above the rate of population growth.

“But it was not always so, and I think in trying to look at the way forward, if we now have a situation of slow growth, double-digit inflation, weak/depreciating exchange rate, as well as security concerns that are resulting in an economy that is not growing and not taking Nigerians out of poverty.

“If we think back to the last time when the economy was stable- when it was growing, when inflation was low, and the interest rate was affordable, that period was about a decade ago. Growth was about 6% in 2013 and 2014.”

Whoever had made that video should be tracked, investigated, and excommunicated from the National team. The timing with which he choose to release that video protrays some form of criminality, and deeply seated envy for a fellow player. Having this kind of a person in any team is dangerous - going forward 😎

You guys’ (easterners) thought process needs to be studied and I’m being frank here.
Now, that South-Western guy who missed the last penalty, what was his attitude towards the ball? Was he being nonchalant or did he walk up to the ball like Eze did? Why do you lots enjoy being the victims?
People were already accusing this boy of being unserious and nonchalant with the way he was literally walking before playing the ‘pass’ to the goalkeeper and just few days later, this video emerged proving the critics right but you are still here defending the glaring arrant nonsense. What he said here ultimately proved us right. It’s obvious he wasn’t motivated but you are here playing defensive for him. Must we always defend everything and even things that are indefensible all in the name of “he’s my tribesman”?
The other guy that lost the second penalty, is he not an Igbo boy? Why is nobody calling him out? Make una dey apply una sense o abeg, this is becoming annoying.

In fact, with that singular act, he is done with super eagles!

He is very unpatriotic. After, being given assurance and confirmation that the money will hit their account that same day. He is very unreliable.

Nnwabali that showed dedication, he paid him.

If I were NFF, I will never call him up again.

If the above quote is True,he Should Never Be Called to the Super Eagles Again,

And I argued seriously that the penalty he miss-played wasn't intentional even when his Igbo brothers were saying he did it intentional.
