This is Ghanaian Angwamo. It is basically braised rice, made with very few ingredients, then served with orisirisi, including sardines, fried eggs, and grinded fresh pepper/onion mix by the side. The taste of the rice itself is bland. Picture source: Pinterest

Ghanaians enjoy eating uncooked peppers and onions as sauce or stew, I don't know how they manage to enjoy it. I remember the day I tasted their banku and uncooked pepper with fish. I almost threw up that day. I had to eat the banku as it is and removed all the peppers from the fish before I could eat it |

This is a normal food na. Its just because of the brilliant arrangement of the pieces by the chef that made it looking different. From the picture, it should be enjoyable. Nice one. |

I can eat it but the tomato, pepper and onions must be fried and sauteed with vegetable oil. I can't eat raw pepper and tomatoes, I'll throw up. |
