If you don;t know how an economy works you just say, the more economy gets better, the standard of living of the citizens improve, so naturally human beings tend to drop somethings and go fo a higher standard...

I never said they disappeared, comprehension has being one of you people's biggest problem, go back and read my comment again, this time slowly maybe you will comprehend better this time.

I said it was already phasing out, and I still stressed that Buhari sustained the phasing out of these things I listed but I'm sure that part was censored to you.

Then lastly for you not to know when ice water was phased out of Nigeria then you were so out of touch with the country at the time, read the article below then go back and read what I wrote, maybe you will learn something, if you don't, sorry, your loss...

Over a week ago, I opened a thread where I was asking about the fate of Molue in Lagos and where I could find them.

https://www.nairaland.com/8594370/there-still-molue-lagos

I went to Bolade in Oshodi and found a lot of Molues and I decided to take one and have an experience of it after over 2 decades.

Here is the video:

This brings back some old memories. See molue, see noise, see crowd. You go run enter, you go still run to alight Such is not the kind of life to relive again. Bye bye to rederede..
That was the life then. You must have stood and held that iron bar at the top almost a km before your bus stop, if not, OYO is your case.

Re: I Entered A MOLUE After Over 20 Years (pics, Video) by hotseat: 4:49pm On Jan 19
Back in the days when Lagos was nothing without the popular molue.

Boarding a molue was an experience out of this world.

Mammoth crowd of passengers would be waiting hysterically for them to arrive at the bus stops.

Even before coming to a complete halt, passengers invaded them trying to get in while some more desperate amongst the lot got in dangerously through the windows.

As soon, they get moving, you see some passengers hanging dangerously at the door entrances as though their lives had a duplicate copy, even at breathtaking speed.

It was a true demonstration of what Fela Kuti described as suffering and smiling scenario.

All the same, Eko Oni Baje o!

Do you know some things were gradually phasing out during the PDP era as they stayed longer?

Now I am not here to say PDP was excellent in governance, but if you look at the trajectory on how development was going, you will notice somethings were gradually fading out due to development, e.g:

1. Molues - At Jonathan's time, Molues were virtually almost gone, people were no longer patronizing them as much.

2. Ice Water - Ice water they usually tie in nylons were completely phased out under PDP, why? people stopped patronizing them and Dr Dora of NAFDAC did a good work under PDP sensitizing people on the dangers of patronizing it.

3. Better Pass Generator - Gradual reduction of the number people using the gen under PDP, though people still used it but the numbers were dropping .

Now fast forward to APC era and gradually these things started coming back and now under Tinubu, though I still commend Buhari to some extent because he was able to sustain part of the phasing out of these things till Tinubu got in.

Tinubu is bringing them back, Molues reigned under his administration as governor throughout his tenure
Just shut it. No govt has ever done well for Nigerians. No power supply under PDP and you talking pee. Bad roads. Why do Nigerians settle for poverty? Ok if I tell you I made millions and build houses during APC. Does that mean the govt has done well? It is the deceit of politicians and political parties that will continue to scam you guys. No party is better than the other. Ask for good leaders who are not corrupt and make sure YOU YOURSELF are not corrupt too.

If you read my comment with good comprehension skill you would not even be attacking me, go back and read it again this time slowly, maybe you will understand better, I still even commended Buhari who was in APC...

And lastly who are the good leaders you are talking about, can you please list them?

Befoe Tinubu became Lagos governor I was already living in Lagos and was even in secondary school, so abeg don't come and try to re-write history for me, Molues reigned under Tinubu till he finsished, It was Fashola who started phasing them out, Tinubu still remains the worst governor of Lagos since 1999...
Do your just say Tinubu remain the worst Governor of Lagos State 😅, you are actually wrong as far as Lagos State is concerned they have innovative Governors.
But if you say Tinubu is the worst Gov of lagos state, OMO that one is Sarcasm

Increasing poverty

I was at Oshodi 13 months ago.
No Molue there.
Not surprised it's returning cos Tinubu has really dealt bad to 98% of Nigerians by taking trillions and giving out thousand to some 2% of persons only

May it never be well with those that pushed him there

Tinubu still remains the worst governor Lagos state has produced since 1999, Almost all Lagos state governors maybe aside Ambode performed averagely even Sanwo-Olu, And Tinubu tops them all as performing far below average as the worst, I know you will come back and start shouting how is my state? grin

I told most Tinubu supporters here who who argued with me before Tinubu was sworn in that the Lagos scam will be exposed, a lot them did not understand and I know you too will not understand but I'm not bothered if you don't.

I told them Tinubu's presidency will expose the Lagos scam, and mind you, Tinubu is not the Lagos scam if that's what you think, but the scam has been exposed and still being exposed, if you can't see it, sorry...

The only route you can still find them in Lagos, I think, should be Iyana Ipaja to Bolade (Oshodi). It's very rare to see a molue in Lagos nowadays.
