I watched a video of one of these popular imams from Ilorin where he was being interviewed in Saudi Arabia by the media in Saudi and they asked him why he was dressed like that with the big turban on his head and this guy lied that it was the traditional attire of the Yoruba people.

Yet, this turban is what they tell themselves here that that's the way you dress as a true Muslim because that's how they dress in Mecca... Now this imam got to Mecca and he was lying to them there because he didn't see anyone dressed like him there he said that's how Yoruba people dress..

May Allah forgive and have mercy on his soul ameen and grant Baba aljanatul firdaus.
