So, if you export Cashew, will the govt collect the proceeds? Proceeds from export belongs to individuals or companies that exported the products! Government can only collect taxes on the export. Note that the figure here is the value of the export, not the tax collected on exports.

If you understand economics, it is a good omen that the non+export trade is coming from private individual and organization. This is telling you that people who makes up a economy are being productive to earn the country the foreign exchange it needs for other activities.

Mr. Okiemute made ₦255 million from export of ginger, yam and powdered mushrooms to Hong Kong and Ecuador. Also, Mr Usman Dambogo made almost a billion exporting cattle, python and goat hides to Italy.

I even wan set meeting with all these men during Easter so that they go put me through.

Many people are making money from exporting so many things.

YOU MISSED THE POINT! the idea from the on-set was to increase the inflow of Dollar to our Foreign reserve, like you rightly stated, the proceeds from the export sales comes in through the CBN! so the CBN gets to keep the Dollar in our Foreign reserves and transfers the Naira equivalent to the Exporters in Nigeria! it's a WIN for the Country
