This is Ghanaian Angwamo.

It is basically braised rice, made with very few ingredients, then served with orisirisi, including sardines, fried eggs, and grinded fresh pepper/onion mix by the side.

The taste of the rice itself is bland.

Take note: It's ground fresh pepper. Grinded pepper is wrong English.

Allow people to eat their dish in peace..this comparison by we Nigerians is nauseating..let's respect other peoples culture..one man's food is another man's poison.
This is nothing to do with disrespect.

We were asked to make a comment on the Ghanaian dish and a lot of us have been honest about it.

I personally will apologise to any Ghanaian here if they felt offended by my comments. This is Nigeria, we get bad mout, it doesn't mean we don't like Ghanaians.

Put picture of a Yoruba dish like Gbegiri there and watch what some will say, also watch the response they will get. It's their choice and like I said, we get badmout, simple. This thread would have been over 30 pages with deleted comments.

None of the comments is from a position of hate, superiority yes but I think Ghanaians have learnt to tolerate that about us.

Don't make it out to be more than normal Ghana Nigeria gbas gbos abeg.

Ghanaians usually like their plates very "busy".

You should see their plate of waakye [rice and beans cooked with sorghum leaves], it is served with practically everything they can lay their hands on, including a little garri on the side.
which country invented agoyin beans?

Note: I definitely didn't and can't eat even 1/10th of the whole meat i bought at once sha. But this week don soft 🙌🏾

1. One Kilo of Chicken
2. Cow Meat (I no see aboki, na their own cheap pass)
3. Tomatoes + Pepper
4. Onions
5. Palm Oil
6. Seasoning combo
7. Two Spaghetti
