Tomkito:
BECE is junior WAEC certificate not FSLC.
Please is this part of the requirements? I haven't seen anyone mentioned it before on this thread

I’m just hearing it for the first time. Doubt it’s needed but you can make your findings

Hi, congratulations. Please I would like to ask, do I need to write English test to apply for this opportunity card. Also, how do I start the application process?
Go through the thread from page one, every information you need for the application is there.

I have followed this thread from page 1 to this page, and no one has ever mentioned it.

Please guys that have scale beyond the preliminary review stage, can you help confirm if BECE was required to scale through?

Thank you very much for your response. I've gone through the thread to see your response but can't find it.
So, I have a scanned copy of my BECE certificate but the original is missing. I'd like to know the next course of action to take since I have the original copy scanned already and how you went about getting the certified true copy.
Thank you very much
I have a scanned testimonial, i went to the school for a letter to prove the document is real {i got this recently, it wasn't submitted with my other documents, I had no idea it was missing} I also did an affidavit to back it up.

My interview is tomorrow, hopefully, it doesn't raise any issues.

In any case, for my missing documents (WAEC cert and 1st degree cert), I had scanned copies of the originals, however I still contacted WAEC and my Alma Mater to get replacement copies

It's junior WAEC certificate and seeing as you do not know what it means, I'm assuming it's not one of the documents you were asked to submit?

I'm confused. What about FSLC? We don't need this one?
Prior to this moment, no one has ever mentioned anything about JSS cert/testimonials.
Generally, it's not even something that is usually required.

Those who have gone through preliminary review should clarify us on the above

Reading through the threads, I noticed many people are confused about whether Junior WAEC (BECE) is required. Some people uploaded it, while others didn’t but it’s not necessary. Don’t stress yourself over it. You do not need Junior WAEC (BECE); only your Senior WAEC is important.

This is refreshing to hear. Congratulations Heleena
congratulations
Please I joined the waiting list September 8, 2025.
When am I likely to be asked to clear up the preliminary stage coz I have been misinformed on the timing.

DHL: they are going to collect all your originals including passport, so you will also submit a DHL/FedEx return envelope with your address on it (you can buy at any FedEx/DHL outlet), the embassy will use that to send your stuff back to you when a decision has been made.
Test: In addition to the why do you want to go to Germany and similar questions, if you are given an aptitude test, it will likely be based on your course of study. I have about 10 years experience in a field far away from my course of study and I was still tested based on that course, I tried to make them change it (because I saw one guy here say he did that) but they said it was okay, I should do it like that.
Good morning
I want to use declaration of commitment from my uncle who is a citizen of Germany?
How do I go about it and how soon do I need to start since I joined the waiting list September 2025

You should tell him to start processing it now, I hear it takes a while to process depending on the city. I didn't use that so I can't say exactly. It takes about 4-6 months for them to invite you for preliminary review so count that from when you joined the waiting list.

Hi, I wouldn't know because the process fluctuates but all I know is that they are attending to applicants from July

How long is the preliminary review taking now?
Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Missmarola: 3:27pm On Jan 21
Please, has anyone who joined the waiting list around June/July passed the preliminary review stage and called for an interview at the embassy?
Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Sid57: 7:13pm On Jan 21
Assumption correct!
Haven't got one and wasn't asked for one. Just the senior WAEC.

Congratulations. Went through your posts and it seems you had your interview in September? Please confirm.
It's like this ppl aren't even doing first in, first out. Because Helena who announced getting a decision last week said her interview was in October.
