Fela was way bigger than wizkid. Take out social media and that's it, wizkid is gone. I remember what we used to do then to listen to fela because he actually sang about things that mattered. Na only nyash, ikebe wizkid sabi sing. For the record, fela never wore pant on stage.

My twenty years old daughter is a big music enthusiast . I was shocked last year when I heard her vibing to Fela. (By the way we are Cameroonians living in Cameroon) Music made 50 years ago. That's how you know a great musician, when people can still enjoy their tunes decades after. I wonder if anyone still listens to Ojulegba in 2026

Sometimes silence is Golden..The Afro beats tune of Fela drew music lovers from half way across the world. Africans, Europeans, Americans. His skill at the saxophone was of the level of Manu Dibango and other greats. I wonder if you know the meaning of the word musical artist. (Mind you I am from Cameroon and posses a huge collection of Fela's discography)

You might want to listen to Fela's Shakara, Lady, Yellow Fever etc to learn it wasn't all about Obasanjo
