Dey whine yourself you hear. Nothing like fruit wine in the time of Jesus any wine known then was fermented drinks. Ecc: 10:19 A feast is made for laughter, wine makes life merry, and money is the answer for everything. adenigga: |

Lukuluku69:What am saying is ...people may agree in the public to religious rules...but in their private it a different story....in all religions Do you remember the case of Iran regime top elite member who gave his daughter in marriage dressed in western white attire without hijab and the chest wide open |

Arrowhead71:You are absolutely correct on what seems to be the hypocrisy on the part of some people, but what you should note is this: As a whole, the society ought to have a standard, a guide, a rule, a system (choose any) that people are expected to live by. However there are deviants here and there who wouldn't want to conform. Here in Nigeria we have them aplenty. Their Daughters would not wear the hijab yet they will be on the forefront of Hijab Advocacy. They will say no to Alcohol publicly but serve people in their private space etc. They are hypocrites and in trying to be politically correct, they ended up being hypocrites. Saudi Arabia allows Expertriates during Alcohol in designated areas since they want their services but it is not allowed for fellow Arabians. The West hailed them for allowing Alcohol for non Arabians while the fundamentalists says the ban should be general in the kingdom |

Dogalmighty17:even the holy communion till today is a strong wine highly diluted. Bible only warn to be moderate in usage and you as a man of God to get filled with the holy Ghost rather getting drunk on wine. Also, once alcohol becomes addictive to you, sin has entered because it has become one's god. Bible is deep and should be studied with the help of the originator(Holy Spirit). |

Lukuluku69:do not place beer and drugs side by side. They have no comparison. Drug taken that is not prescribed by a physician for your ailment is an abuse no matter the quantity. This is the reason why on a stop and search routine, law does not hold you guilty if they see alcohol in your car but holds you guilty if they see drugs in your car no matter how tiny. Beer is openly sold, consumer discretion is only advised. Drug can never be openly sold because it is a contraband. Occasionally taking a bottle of beer refreshes you actually as a man if you do not know. People are only advised to stay away especially in a religious perspective if they do not have the discipline to take only what their body needs. |

adenigga:Rubbish. Fruit wine ko, bread wine ni. The wine in the bible was alcoholic wine. That was why Peter encouraged Timothy to take it from time to time. |

adenigga:Do your research, there is nothing like fruit wine during the time of jesus, moreover the master of the ceremony confirmed that is was alcohol because he said the man kept good drink even when people are drunk. Was it fruit wink that made them drunk? NB I don't support drinking but don't misquote the bible either |
