Same thought too..I don’t want to believe dt commercial package stuff, if a whole Italy 🇮🇹 can miss the World Cup twice ,who be Nigeria 🇳🇬? So back to the case, if fifa wants to investigate how they got deir passport den we might be having a strong case here based on dr Congo law
definitely. We overrate ourselves with that commercial package thing. Just waiting for the ruling that should come out so that we can have a clear focus on what to do. Im sure the nff has not scheduled a friendly for march because they are waiting for a decision on this case so as not to repeat the case of the scheduled friendly matches that could not hold in November just because we made the play off

Yes u re right …d ball is now FIFA’s court if Dey want to dabble into dr Congo’s constitution or not ..simple as ABC
This what FIFA law says;

if someone can’t automatically become a citizen without first doing something significant under that country’s law, then they are not yet considered to “hold” that nationality for FIFA eligibility.

All these sanctions that CAF is dishing out, did Morocco receive any?

Morocco should be punished for fapping Nwabali and Mendy's towels in the semi-finals and finals respectively.

Morocco should be punished for their fans making racist gestures at Nwabali by throwing bananas at him.

Also, officiating was poor in this AFCON and biased especially in favour of Morocco. There should be some shake-up and reconstitution of the referee committee with the head being replaced.

Until CAF does all these, they are unserious and just papering over the cracks.

Yes on Congo Dr national law regarding nationality we have a strong case but sporting law we have no way.Congo constitution gave us the advantages cuz it supercedes the sporting law.

Congo Dr doesn't recognize dual citizenship but used players with dual citizenships...now left for us to pursue it logically without given any loopholes....good we have a Nigerian,a reputable SAN who is my big brother as member of FIFA Ethics committee
Thanks for this

Exclusive: Genoa's Jeff Ekhator is an option for Crystal Palace if they fail to secure Sidiki Cherif. 19-year-old also has interest from Portugal.

Genoa are prepared to sanction a sale for around €18m and have had direct approaches this winter for the Italy Under-21 striker.🇮🇹

There are so many countries that don't accept dual citizenship and if FIFA decide to rule in favour of DRC Congo, it will cause problems in the future. Countries will start issuing passport to players they like not minding their constitutional requirements for citizenship. If I like you, I give you passport and FIFA go approve am sharp sharp

🚨 Galatasaray have made an offer for Raphael Onyedika but Club Brugge did not accept.

They want a bit more but there is no issue on the player's side. Discussions ongoing.

so a country can issue a passport despite the receipient not meeting its internal requirements and FIFA will still honor it? If true then the NFF should start looking for friendly matches. Atleast to boost our fifa ranking.

Just read this article by Solace regarding Nigeria's nearly there syndrome.

Made some good points why we get to so many semis and fail to convert to trophies.

This guy just likes cooking up grammar to sound intelligent. I'm sorry but what is the essence of all the conundrum? Just to confuse the readers?
I mean what are the takeaways in the write up? NFF should start cheating too? Abi winning the Afcon is by entitlement? Somebody please enlighten me on what I missed

I just wonder, again I keep asking if our outing in this Afcon was a disgrace, if we are even honest both Senegal and Morocco have more depth and quality in their squad than ours with players even playing in better clubs than our players so is it a disgrace we lost to Morocco?

We need to isolate this current Afcon from the others the bronze that people are complaining about now if we haven’t won all the write ups will be more about Chelle being a bad coach 😂 but alas the general consensus is that he has done well so that agenda can’t fly! This is one of the best attacking Nigerian team we’ve seen in decades yet na bronze be our problem. Omo I tire for Nigerians nothing will ever satisfy them even if we win a title they will find another thing to murmur about. If we don’t like bronze then let’s kuku be exiting at the knockout final stages so we can cry and rant very well. It’s a disrespect to the team and the coaches for all their efforts to be reduced to being called mediocres for coming behind teams who are better in terms of players profile.

Moroccan media shaa... they are just unforgivably amnesiac. If they sack Walid and bring in Tarik Sektioui because he won Arab Cup with Morocco B ehn, then na wa for them.

This talk of Iniesta is still speculation but I wonder how this will look. Tiki taka meeting Morocco who stifled Tiki Taka at Qatar 2022? Lol...

Shebi when I said make osihmen leave the national team Una go Dey vex. The die is cast until the player leaves all this controversy won’t end. Oliseh is just leading the charge for the player to be axed out of the team no matter whatever has been resolved!

You may have the voice of reason but unfortunately the likes of oliseh don’t see it that way. Let the player make way so at least we don’t see more drama around the player again. But for as long he still plays for the national team folks like oliseh who evidently has so much bile against the player will continue to rile up Nigerians against him no matter how many goals he scored.
Somebody said this kind of blame Oliseh laid upon Osimhen is the reason why he plays with so much intensity because he knows that if the team loses, he will be the one that would be blamed.

I'm certain that Osimhen will bring us glory. It's a matter of time.
