You should use a flight comparison site like Skyscanner to find the cheapest days to fly. You can also check reliable third-party booking sites (I recommend WakaNow) for discounted deals that match your travel dates.

Wishing you a safe journey.

Nope ...

I might not have enough proof of funds required for Canada, trying to see if loans are accessible
Okay, I don’t know of any company that gives out loans, but if you do, please help him. Above all, Jokerman, do not use a fake proof of funds , or you could receive a five-year visa ban.

At 38, a postgraduate diploma in healthcare might work for college admission, but for IRCC visa purposes, it’s not ideal unless you can get into a master’s program.

IRCC looks at things differently: they want immigrants who can start working and contributing to CPP and OAS quickly.

Younger people in 20s studying 2–4 years and then working are preferred.

are you notice most people in their 30 come for higher degree or to start work immediatly

With your Healthcare Assistant certificate but no recent work experience, IRCC would likely see the strongest path as pursuing a master’s degree, finishing quickly, and getting a higher-paying job to contribute to the system.

This is just my perspective based on how Canada evaluates applicants
Thanks for the response.

Unfortunately, I can't opt for MSc due to my undergrd grade (2.2). I'm just trying to weigh options and go with the best that suits my case.

Thank you very much Sir
ATTAHDYE:
Believe it or not, Canada is looking for people that will bring in FRESH money/inflows!

Sponsors from within Canada is not a great idea, but he can contribute by paying off your tuition fee and/or set up a GIC for you as part of his contribution.

Let the main/additional sponsorship come from Nigeria.

This advice is from what I have experienced handling study visa applications.

All the best.

My sister applied since November 20th, and no update since biometric has been completed. Even her upfront medical was not update. I wondering what the problem is with the pause.

Thanks for your reply. Master of Science (Computer Science). I wanted research (thesis), but I couldnt find a supervisor.

amnotapervert:
Yes...Memorial University in Newfoundland and Labrador (Canada) does offer course..based Master’s programs, not just research (thesis) ones

sometimes if you do small Google search you will get your answers 😂

But that is why I am here 😂 At this point, I should be an ambassador for the school....I am always encouraging people looking for cheaper schools to go there.

Master of Management (MMgt), Master of Applied Ocean Technology , Master of Maritime Management (MMM), Master of Technology Management (MTM) , Master of Education (MEd), Master of Science (Nursing), Master of Human Kinetics and Recreation, Master of Science (Computer Science)

https://gazette.mun.ca/campus-and-community/graduate-tuition-changes/

now time to ask the correct question what program are you looking at ?

Your kids applications are already outside the current processing time, which is 7 weeks. You can submit a web form or email the processing centre to request a status update. If they have closely approaching enrollment dates, you can also cite them to further justify your follow-up.

Good morning everyone, am new here . I’ll appreciate your support and help on a route to Canada, and which school is cheaper. I studied public health and would like to know how I can go about it. I’ll appreciate your help and support. Thanks!

Good morning and welcome to the thread! Your background in Public Health could be a great asset for your journey to Canada. You haven't mentioned your intended certificate or program of interest yet. Nevertheless, I would recommend looking into schools like Memorial University of Newfoundland, the University of Regina, Niagara College, the College of the North Atlantic, and NBCC. These are some popular and affordable options that might fit your budget.

Once you identify a potential program and secure admission, the next stage will be your visa application. I and other experienced members here can guide you through that process.

Good luck with the whole process!

School was supposed to resume on the 6th and I submitted multiple web form prior then with no response, then I had to defer resumption.
Would you still advise sending an email to the corresponding email?
Please advise.

It's wise you deferred your enrollment, and since you did, the urgency of your case has lessened. Regardless, it won't hurt your application to seek a status update from the processing center involved, which is most likely the Nairobi office.

Note that a direct email to the case processing center is more targeted than a general web form, which you relied on solely earlier. So, I recommend you do send the email.

you can go for a postgraduate diploma but you have to make sure that it's really directly related to your previous study

you also have to have a strong statement of purpose explaining what you are currently doing and how this would help you in your career

i suggest you meet the license immigration consultant licensed oooo not facebook

In Nigeria we only have 7 license immigration Consultants....they will give have your full profile and give you options https://register.college-ic.ca/Public-Register-EN/RCIC_Search.aspx

This is not always the case, people have different reasons they want to study a program. You just need to prove why. It may be related to work experience or passion. The SOP is all that matters.
