I haven't yet read the story, but my worry is why you guys can't just say "a lady" or "a girl" or simply "a woman" whenever there's a story about a female on the internet. Why is it always "pretty lady" even if the lady is just a.....lady?

Weird story

She told her sister about the trip.
On getting to her destination, she called a friend instead of her sister. why not call the sister also ?
By 2208hrs same day, she made so call to her friend without doing same to her sister and other family members.
She was not reported missing until 27th, more than 24hrs after her friend got her distress call.
What happened during the interim ?
What did Ifeoma, her friend, do with the information she got ?
She had the boyfriend's address, why didn't she tell her friend or text same to multiple relations or the hotel's assuming she checked the name ?

Justice should be served. How can a human being be killed like a chicken? The government should not allow this matter to be swept under the carpet. Ifeoma testify to the police that her friend made a distress call that she has been locked up in a room by her boyfriend and that she is in danger.Then the girl didn't go back to her house again till now.
The police arrested the boyfriend and the boyfriend confirmed what ifeoma said that he himself locked the girl up in a hotel room.
Then what is the police doing in the highway searching for a pieces of a girl that someone in their detention has confessed he locked up in his hotel room?

The story has rituals written all over it. I've always been skeptical about that Lekki-Ajah-Epe axis, and Epe here is the poor man's version of Lekki where all Lekki wannabes live. Houses are ridiculously priced with poor infrastructure everywhere.

The stories of rituals makes dating and even having sex very hard because the girl doesn't trust you even when you have no ill intentions towards her. Evident of a low trust society.

Nothing beats a high trust society.

There are other safer places, way safer than Dubai, that don't practice Sharia. But in our case, sometimes, I think southern Nigeria should experience strict Sharia, maybe these vices will drastically reduce.

But then, ritual killings are rife in Kwara, Osun and Ogun where adherents of Sharia reside. So, it's more of a cultural issue than religious.

Japan and China don't have Shariah, but there are safer than all Shariah places combined.

The issue is the cultural belief that money could be made from women's body parts.
