TheSuperNerd: I also find it disgusting. The bullying of teams makes the image of their team look bad. |

Please before you hype Akinsanmiro and you say -"did you watch the match" Remember that's how you guys hyped Nwakali with the same phrase - "did you watch the match" When a player plays well, we say it but if he wasn't himself, no need to hide weaknesses Because sooner than latter, it'll show Love and light |

Rest. When Nigeria next has a game, then your pessimistic relevance returns. Blueelf, Darkelf, elf of darkness.... stick to your job. This one is not your jurisdiction. darkelf: |

Bruno Onyemaechi starts at LB for Olympiacos vs NFC Volos in the Greek Super League. Morocco's El Kaabi starts for Olympiacos too. They faced each other at the 2025 Afcon. |

The respect accorded the 94 set is fading off faster due to the foolish talk coming out their mouth in the last 2years. I know it's not all but fo they have some unaware level of cognitive dissonance up their sleeves or what? ![]() |

[quote author=ChrisKels post=138243964]Nwaiwu didn't really impress me in his first league match as he wasn't as imposing as I would have loved, but that was understandable considering it is a new environment. He did better yesterday. was the highest rated defender in that first match too o. He impressed me sha. |

daveP:They feel the country still owes them a lot and must continue to defer to them forever no matter how incompetent they may be in terms of administration, coaching or in any capacity. All the pent up anger from oliseh is because Nigerians condemned his tv commentary job. To him who are Nigerians to tell him how to do his job! |

semid4lyfe:The truth is not with the majority anyways. I was trying to make some sense out of your positions, until you said the following "It's almost like you are on a paid agenda to discredit the coach and the team" I am very sorry for you for using the words: paid agenda, you should have just said agenda, and even at that I have no agenda against the coach, i have pointed out previously in my posts Eric Chelle's good points, I have hailed his good contributions. Inspite of his good scores, I have also highlighed his shortcomings and insisted that i am not convinced. On Eric Chelle, I am simply not convinced, and that is a glaring fact. I pointed out his failings, and every single point touted has a sound underpinning. I have never called for his sack, I simply opined that if he gets a better offer that he should move on. You also said that i tried to discredit the team. I have always defended the Super Engles brand. I have always labelled the Super Eagles the best team in Africa. It is because of the potential that I see In the team that engenders my clarion call for a Grade A coach for a good harvest of the talent pool. Many on this thread have labelled our players as average, a notion that i keep refuting. I simply don't know where you got the idea of me discrediting the Super Eagles brand. Eric Chelle plays an attractive brand of football, his kind of football is flashy and can hide tactical flaws. There is everything good when those flaws are picked and exposed. That a coach is not as flashy does not make the coach tactically poor. A not-so-flashy coach might be more tactically sound with a better reading of the game than a coach that likes to keep the ball. |

Mujtahida:Your take is just like when the country is bad and we decide to go and protest , you now say "what if they shoot us". Then the situation remains the same or gets worse eventually. You won't improve anything with this mindset. Won't you be happy with the football that we could have played knowing that we created chances to score and still lost the match. Let's just hope we don't find ourselves in this situation again. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 4:12pm On Jan 24 |
Yeah, Cuenca did good in Bassey's absence. Fulham as a team lost only 2 of the 8 games Bassey and co missed. Won 4, drew 2. But I expect Bassey to get his shirt back with time. Goke7: |

Meliforme:This is me commending Eric Chelle's contributions to the team, highlighting his most salient of contributions. I wonder how this post skipped Semid4lyfe's eyes, for someone that is the thread's moderator. Growth is possible for anyone, change is possible, but as far as what i have seen, i am not convinced yet. |

TheSuperNerd:I don talk my own and I will continue to say it You are quick to hype players Akinsanmiro may end up giving into the hope that we gave Nwakali Bro, don't say "did you watch the game" Let his numbers s0eak for him. There's no sacred lamb here and every player must be scrutinised Love and light I go continue to talk. No be you dey buy data for me bro. So, resttttt |

I wonder when you ever cared. Is it not you who takes delight in talking down on every Nigerian player including Osimhen? Again Rest. Stick to your pessimistic brand. Players analysis is not your forte. This "hype" word is also grossly misused. Saying what a player does in a game as it happened must have another meaning I dont know about. Again Rest, Elf of darkness. This is noise. Perhaps when your data expires on this darkelf mode, u will switch to Blueelf. darkelf: |

What is biting a few people is the fact that this Ebenezer Akinsanmiro was first mentioned by me in this thread and across any major media as one for the future. This was 2022 or so when he was unknown and 18yrs. I followed his progress since then and now, within 3yrs, this same lad has proven me right and risen so far to become a Serie A regular and a Super Eagles invitee. And you want me to shut up about it? You will have to leave the thread so as not to see me keeping talking about his progress and all others I follow. |

Mehn, if Fabregas stays and Como manages to keep the core of their players for next season, they will be an interesting opponent in Europe. |
