Well, you also need to stop making mockery of people's effort.

Some of us rooted for Nwakali and he failed but you rooted for Zubairu, Ejaria, Igbekeme who all flopped yet you don't see anyone rubbing it in your face. Be careful angry

The fact that you quoted that post is enough to show that you are one of the few it hits flat in the face. You cant hide what it does to you hence you had to spill this worthless little rant.

The mods hid my original response to you but I will summarize it here:

Firstly, your words mean absolutely nothing to me because they are coming from someone who talks plenty before he settles to think.
I cannot take a man who rants reactively like a woman on period, seriously. The Osimhen episode already exposed you as a man-boy who screams and talks anyhow without checking the depth or weight of certain words.

Secondly, Dont play pretense in my mentions.
It was still you who played dismissive and condescending towards my talents post efforts back in 2023 during the or close to the 2023 U17 Wafu B period. You kept sarcastically asking about if I have picked up new midfield blood and I magnanimously quoted my December 2022 post on Akinsanmiro. I also quoted one or two others and your response was just meh.
Lo and behold the same Akinsanmiro has risen and is balling in Serie A today. Invited to the Super Eagles also. But you just have to talk it down by any means.

Lastly, Screaming Grow up does not shield you from the truth that you are the one who needs growing up. Growing up also does not mean one wont address the obvious when necessary, grabbing it by the root and dissecting effectively.

So dont talk to me about growth when all you do is famz your fellow "anyhow-talking" igbo brother who constantly yaps bunch of non****se about local talents that one of us (Bascovanveli) was doing his best to bring as extra spice to the thread. I am Igbo too but I am ashamed at how you and Charles carry yourself sometimes. You act like you are mature but deep down, it is not the case.

One of such local talents that your buddy in crime, Charles laughed at when Basco kept blessing this thread with Local content is now in Germany at RB Leipzig.

So dont talk to me about growth if you cant own your s**t.

Daalu.

ChrisKels:
Dude you just dey fight yourself for no reason. You are one of oldest members of this thread and you really need to grow up. What's this trash? What are you guys dragging for when no one gets paid a Kobo for any post here. A lot of people have changed with their way of reasoning and approach here over the years and that shows maturity, but you just don't want to move on from this your unnecessary victim mentality since 2016. Wetin Charles and co go dey drag with you for? Does it matter who mentions a player here first or does mentioning a player first make anyone the founder or owner of the player? Aboy, grow up.

We love the updates you give us here, but cut off these unnecessary trash, we don't need it.

Vince Osuji, CB finally made his Senior League debut for Club Brugge today. He was subbed in on 75mins.

Raphael Onyedika, CDM played all 90mins but made an error leading to goal for Waregem. His teammates saved his blushes in a 4-3 win.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 8:20pm On Jan 24
It was Vince Osuji's 3rd senior appearance of the season but it was indeed his first senior league appearance. Other 2 came in cup games.

Tochukwu Nnadi eventually came in on 64mins and distinguished himself leaving with a decent showing.

No need to pretend. You always mocked the efforts of Basco here when he constantly updated the thread on Local league talents.

One of such just signed for RB Leipzig. You should be ashamed.
and I will never hide my dislike of NPFL players which isn’t the topic here

One of those NPFL players is Sani Suleiman and he is now at RB Leipzig.

Even the Nwaiwu you famz now was once an NPFL player.

And yes, you said let the country divide when the Super Eagles list was released and had Salim Fago and Usman Mohammed on it. Some folks even picked up on it while I stayed silent throughout. Your dislike for northern players is noted. Lie all you want.

Hafiz Ibrahim, CF starts for Reims vs St Etienne in Ligue 2. Finally benches Gambia's Adama Bojang. Game at 31mins now.

Akor Adams' goal from the spot enough to give Sevilla all 3 ptd vs Bilbao. Game just ended 2-1.

His goals have fetched 4 pts since his return from the Afcon.

Stop propagating this illusion that is not there, abeg! How many goals did their striker score? Where are their strikers playing for compared to Ivory Coast or Nigeria.
We used our 2nd string to defeat Egypt and Uganda! What are you on about self!
Their defense was so porous against Morocco that a team like Nigeria or Ivory Coast would have took them to the cleaners. Rest this talk abeg!
The only good team they played was DRC and they should have lost. The same DRC that lost to the Algerians that we molested.
Maybe you forget, that Morocco just played 120 minutes of football against the best team of the tournament few days to the final!
The same Senegalese that could not score more than 1 against ten men Mali!
Only two players carried them (Mane and Geuye). Which quality are you talking about? [quote author=ChrisKels post=138247669]Yesterday on Naija Made, someone repeated the same thing I pointed out here. We really need to do better.

Me, whenever I see the likes of Simon getting ready to come on, I just call it a day.

I find it quite interesting to see semid4lyfe defend Chelle , and the Super Eagles. lol.
I still remember that your list of favorites before the tournament! You own me an apology.
semid4lyfe:
Have you ever played or coached at any level of football? I ask cos your reading and interpretation of the game is too theoretical and not based on realism. As a former aspiring footballer and a former assistant coach of an amateur football team, I'll tell you for free that coaching is not black and white.

Even the best and most accomplished coaches have had moments of tactical mishaps and failings. Pep Guardiola arguably the best coach of this decade fumbled the Manchester City vs Chelsea 2021 UCL final. Pep inexplicably benched Rodri and Fernandinho, and played without a CDM. In addition, he unfathomably played without an out-an-out striker opting to play KDB as a false 9 instead of in his natural AM role in the biggest game of his Manchester City coaching career then. Pray tell, did Pep's tactical gaffe in that UCL final make him a bad coach? What of when Real Madrid beat Bayern Munich 4 nil in Munchen under Peo? The Man City's 0 - 4 drubbing by Tottenham at Etihad? etc Should we now regard Pep as a tactically poor coach with no Plan B?

You seem to be in the same whatsapp group with TGJ to me. Your football expectations are built on theoretical fantasies and not realism. In your fantasy football world, there are no bad days and a team must play well all the time.

The fact that you'd mention employing a "Grade A" coach for the team tells me you like building castles in the sky. Who or what is a grade A coach? Were Clemens Westerhoff, Bonfrere Jo and Stephen Keshi who won our biggest football laurels Grade A coaches? Bora Milutinovic, Lars Lagerback, Berti Vogts, Thijs Libregts who were the biggest profile coaches in our football history, what did they achieve? No be use and dump dem do us? What the Super Eagles need is a young (40-ish) dynamic coach in with a playing identity, who is eager to coach and do well with the Super Eagles and make a name for himself.

I have been watching Super Eagles since '94, and I daresay only 2 coaches have brought something uniquely different to the team.

1. Philippe Troussier - played a 3-5-2 which was considered strange by many Nigerians at that time because 4-4-2 was the in-thing, and he was sacked for his "unfamiliar formation" despite qualifying the team for the '98 world cup. Now the 3-5-2/5-3-2 formation is quite common and we all know Troussier was ahead of his time.

2. Eric Sekou Chelle - He plays a diamond formation in midfield which relies on the attackers pressing from the front, quick transitions and progressing the ball through the middle, and the wingbacks playing high, and providing width through the flanks.

You want Eric Chelle to move on right, no problem. Who is the grade A coach you have in mind to replace him? Can the NFF/NSC afford the remuneration of your so-called grade A coach? I challenged you to drop names over a week ago, till date nada you never drop.

In case you've forgotten Eric Chelle is unbeaten in regulation + extra time with the Super Eagles and his only losses have come via PSO.
