I understand your desperate NEED to disparage Nigerians living abroad. Sowing uncertainty and doubt among diasporans makes those stuck in Nigeria feel better about their own bleak prospects in the general COMPETITION with their mates abroad. It's galling to know you're jobless or making ₦‎150K salary when your university classmate in US/UK sends triple that amount home every month. So your response is to make fun of them, make them feel uncertain and uncomfortable. To understand why this is a FUTILE tactic, you have to think back. In the 1970s & 80s lots of Nigerians abroad returned home for good and raised their families. A MAJORITY of them fell into poverty. Many of their children are now back in the Anglo-West.

After the return of democracy in 1999, there was another surge of returnees. These ones learned the lessons of the 1970's & 80's and didn't completely uproot themselves. I was among that cohort. By 2012 it became clear that Nigeria was still a disaster zone. Right now in 2023, for well known reasons, very few Nigerians residing abroad will take the chance of going back. So all the efforts to make us feel bad about our choices are FUTILE because we have 50 years of REAL RESULTS AND EXPERIENCE with which to make comparisons. Trying to drag down those ahead of you is not a good life strategy. It worked for a while, yes some of us fell for it but not anymore. Get it? You can't persuade anyone to indefinitely live on unrealistic HOPES of a nebulous Afro-revival.

The woman shover and his friends then stomped, punched, and kicked the man who had been trying to shield the woman. As they assaulted him they realized the shielding man had a holstered gun. The shielding man fought to get free to protect the woman, but never reached for his gun. One of the stomping men grabbed the shielding man’s gun and cleared himself before a single shot was fired. The other men then, after he had been disarmed, shot the shielding man ten or more times despite never having reached for his gun and after he’d already been disarmed.

That is exactly what happened. A man was murdered for trying to protect a woman who’d been assaulted.

He wasn’t a terrorist, he was a hero. He was the one protecting someone and he was gunned down for doing what any decent man should do when he sees a woman being assaulted. Alex Pretti died a hero. Alex Pretti exemplified the best of America and was murdered for it.

If you have any honor, any love for your country, and basic human decency, you will applaud the Alex Pretti and condemn the men who murdered him.

2) Flows from the issue you've raised - ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION. There would be little ICE activity in major cities if there was no crisis of ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION. Add to that -

a) there would be zero abusive police tactics if citizens didn't go around obstructing ICE operations

b) there would be no shootings if citizens simply complied with police officers EVEN WHEN STOPPED UNJUSTLY.

I got a traffic ticket some months ago. I've had many others over 30 years in the USA. I'm still alive and conversing with you. You've implied the justice system may lynch me, but you have nothing to say about the legal lynching of President Trump.

Simple example at maryland junction, there was a mobil. and oando and a conoil station. these stations were literally bringing in billions yearly. well, LASG has taken over the area and converted it to a bus terminal

when lasg expanded lagos badagry expressway they took over 10 metres on each side of the road

right now there is a plan to expand lekki epe expressway. i am currently working on a project there where we are discussing how much land will be lost

no one is crying about being victimized. but you, a so called proponent of law and order, are wailing about actual development. i am sure you also defend building on water ways and bypassing normal process
