charlesemeka85:Besiktas will need to replace Tammy Abraham. I would prefer him to go to Porto though |

ChrisKels:Never said he wasn't good but any objective abd unbiased supporter of the Super Eagles will tell you the difference between the two is like 7up. More importantly, Nwabali is dependable and has stood to be counted when it mattered most unlike Maduka who is lilly-livered and abandoned the team for years under the guise of "mental health". .......and YES, i will be fine as long as he stays far away from the Super Eagles. I wish him well in his club career though ![]() No to blackmailers. No to saboteurs. |

lbrichman2:The sole approved one we have is a state government property and it is instructive to other states. Lagos and Kaduna should be doing better. The fans are there. Abuja stadium cannot generate enough sporting activities year round to justify it's maintenance. So, except NFF becomes ambitious and push for a CAF tournament (or even WAFU cup) to justify expenses on the two National stadiums, it's going to be the same story. Lagos can and should renovate Teslim Balogun Stadium to pristineness. Kaduna is rebuilding the Ahmadu Bello Stadium. With that we can get a trio of quality facilities |

Odunayaw:In Ibadan here, we even have Lekan Salami stadium that was recently renovated.. A little touch up here and there, and it will be up to CAF standard.. Not to mention the stadia in Warri and Port Harcourt.. We have no excuse really.. We can have 5-7 tournament ready stadia at any time It's just a lack of will |

charlesemeka85:I learnt my lesson pretty early. As long as that player is doing well and enjoying the hypes when young we will never be an option unless he already had it in him that it is Nigeria or nothing. I will never waste my time expecting to have a player like Saka, Oliseh, Ngumoha, Nwaneri, Chukwuemeka of Chelsea, Adeyemi, Madueke et al, but once they move away from England, there is that little glimmer of hope because out of sight is usually out of mind for those English media who tend to view players moving away from England as failed players unless they are joining teams like Bayern, Barcelona, Madrid, PSG or Dortmund. Chukwuemeka isn't quite lighting it up at Dortmund, so I hope he looks our way. As for Ugochukwu, I wonder whether Apam never talks to him. Azeez and Njinmah should be given a chance though. |

Because Morocco were not sanctioned or punished, the despicable acts continue.. Even in club football.. Shameless people Meanwhile CAF continues to look the other way.

semid4lyfe: semid4lyfe:Dude hit your chest and say you don't rate Okoye, no one will beat you up. Stop pretending as if your anger is because he was excused from the AFCON. This was you in 2024 saying we can't go no where with Okoye, so why complaining today and calling him a sabo and a blackmailer? Okoye will be back, and you will be fine. |

lbrichman2:Femi Azeez is good. Can play comfortably on the right or left wing, Plays directly, runs and takes on defenders, and can cross for Africa. The guy is ambipedal and you gsts watch am keenly to know he's naturally left-footed. He will definitely be a good addition to the Super Eagles. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by charlesemeka85(m): 1:12pm On Jan 26 |
ChrisKels:you are right, the English media and FA concentrates more on players playing locally in their league unless the ones doing very well in big clubs out of England |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Odunayaw(m): 1:12pm On Jan 26 |
lbrichman2:Exactly bro. I even overlooked Ibadan because of size. LSS is 10k or so. Stephen Keshi stadium and Adokiye stadium (although the location is quite of town) too. Rivers State Gov have been clueless with the money Rivers Utd has brought home from CAF competitions. They will carry their head to Uyo when they have a stadium in their city |

lbrichman2:The pitch of Lekan Salami Stadium is the problem now. 3 teams (3SC, Pacesetter Queen, Remo Stars) are presently training and playing their home matches there now. They have to decongest our stadia, to start with |

Mujtahida:He never made such demand. He only asked for a guaranteed playing time, and he was right to have asked for that considering his situation. |

ChrisKels:Ore, I am responsible for what I post not your comprehension or lack of comprehension. I still stand by my previous assessment that Maduka is not a dependable keeper, amd we won't win any championship with him as our starting goalie. However, I have always reckoned that he's good enough to deputize Nwabali and be part of the squad. .........And pls stop making it seem as if Maduka was excused from the team. Tell the full story. MADUKA OKOYE was DROPPED because he attempted to blackmail the coach and sabotage the team by demanding to be made #1 for the AFCON and the coach refused, saying everyone must compete and earn their starting shirts, and dully dropped him from the squad I rated Maduka a little before but with that silly stunt he pulled, I do not rate him anymore. Football is a team sport and anyone who places personal ambition above the team's is a saboteur. |
