He never made such demand. He only asked for a guaranteed playing time, and he was right to have asked for that considering his situation.
Even though you quoted the wrong post. I know your response is to my post on Okoye.

He made such a demand. Oma Akatugba mentioned it. Here it is reported in the news that indeed he made such a demand

I read a report yesterday by Colin Udoh, that Keshi evaluated over 600 npfl players for months and was able to select only 6 for his AFCON 2013 team then..
The rest were simply not good enough..

Out of the 6, only Oboabona(a starter) and Mba(a sub) played any significant minutes..

When our local coaches come with this homebased players hogwash, just know someone wants to sell spots that's all

You so shallow man!
See wetin person dey write!
Of course, FIFA did not know Malaysia law more than the Malaysian peeps. See sense!
Karlovych:
I suppose you know Congolese law more than the Congolese people.

Why don't you produce documented proof that the said players didn't renounce their EU citizenship, or the poor administrators in NFF used Chatgpt and Wikipedia to disturb FIFA

Age is universal. Citizenship is situational. if you say by your own laws they are not citizens and country said we approved their citizenship as a special case. there is no argument based on FIFA laws, as the country is the authority
The country cannot say you are a citizen by mouth or by passport without amendment of the constitution.

It doesn't work that way, if not, any country can just pick any player of their choice and slam them a passport calling them citizens.

FIFA laws are clear, a player must satisfy all the country's requirements to be eligible for passport.

Now ask yourself, are those players in question having dual passports?

Ask again, do having dual passports make you go against the constitution of the state?

Ore, I am responsible for what I post not your comprehension or lack of comprehension.

I still stand by my previous assessment that Maduka is not a dependable keeper, amd we won't win any championship with him as our starting goalie. However, I have always reckoned that he's good enough to deputize Nwabali and be part of the squad.

.........And pls stop making it seem as if Maduka was excused from the team. Tell the full story. MADUKA OKOYE was DROPPED because he attempted to blackmail the coach and sabotage the team by demanding to be made #1 for the AFCON and the coach refused, saying everyone must compete and earn their starting shirts, and dully dropped him from the squad

I rated Maduka a little before but with that silly stunt he pulled, I do not rate him anymore. Football is a team sport and anyone who places personal ambition above the team's is a saboteur.
I want the best players for my team, and I don't see anyone better than Okoye in that position, though for now Nwabali slightly edges him as a starter.

Our best for now are Nwabali, Okoye and Uzoho.

What was his reason for opting out, and was his reason justifiable, those are the necessary questions.

Okoye; Coachee thanks for naming me in the AFCON list, eventhough I have been inactive for long.

Coachee; No reason am my boy, we dey together.

Okoye; But coachee no vex oo; based on how my situation take dey now as person wey dun dey inactive for long, I hope say you go give me enough game time to bounce back to form?

Coachee; Hmmm I can't guarantee you that my boy because your senior bro remains the undisputed number 1

Okoye; Thanks for your sincerity Coachee, but please reason with me; e go really affect my form and the team too at the long run if I remain out of form for being away from action for too long(ban/inactive through the AFCON period). I think I will be more useful to the team when in form than when out of form.

Coachee: How you mean my boy

Okoye: Wetin I mean be say; e no go better make I use my club side gain form since my senior bro go cover the AFCON post, so that tomorrow, our team go parade two inform goalkeepers? That will also create an opportunity for Uzoho or any other option to re-anchor and make our team even more stronger after the AFCON. How you see am Coachee?

Coachee: E go hard oo, but you make sense, oya go your club go get your form back since I already have enough cover, but mind you, I go hijack you come Morocco if the injury to your senior brother relapses.

Okoye: Thanks for your understanding boss, I will be expecting your call during the course of the AFCON if my services are needed as you said. It is all for the good of our team at the long run.

Na the summary be this. E no touch anywhere.

Our best 3 are Nwabali, Okoye and Uzoho for now.

You guys should stop saying stuff like this. Ndidi has been written off even before Afcon as having nothing to offer anymore but today it’s a different story. For as long as a player hasn’t retired he can still be useful to any team on a lucky day.

Imagine Nottingham saying Awoniyi has nothing more to offer before yesterday’s game. Let’s stop all these our arrogant takes please!
No, Ndidi was never written off.
The ones that wrote him off are the ones who watch either absent minded or are still honing their skills in football analysis.

Ndidi is a player that i have studied extensively. Ndidi is a player that i kept referring to as the tactician, because of his ability to understand and play according to instructions and also due to his ability to read his opponents.

At some point it looked like i was the only one on this platform rooting for Wilfred Ndidi.

DR Congo issued passports to those players because their parents are Congolese, I wonder where Qatar and Bahrain will get South Americans with parents with Qatari and Bahrain origin.
Shebi you people have already said that the laws of the land don't matter?

You people said that passport matters more than the laws of the land?

Why bother again

Let everybody start dashing passport left, right and center.

I trust the Arab nations with oil money... They go too buy players and dash them passport.

Shebi passport is all that matters

FIFA go clear players tire

Lol 😂

The same Congolese laws that allow for special exceptions, and were duly cleared by FIFA

Let's wait for FIFA then
This is the Crux of the matter

There's no place in the official law of land i.e DR Congo constitution that clearly states a special condition to grant those players citizenship.

The only condition in the constitution for special consideration on dual nationality is when the person in question is less than 21 years old.

In this case, all the 6 players involved are over 21 years old

So you see, we are going to the world cup qualifiers

At this point, it's obvious CAF isn't gonna take this towel business seriously coz it involves Morocco. All the talk of law and fairness is a facade when things like this keep getting ignored.

So NFF can't find a top European or South American world cup bound team willing to play us in this international friendly window? at least we are 3rd in CAF ranking and 26 in world rankings coming off an impressive AFCON with an exciting coach...surely a decent Euro team should find us worthy opponents to use to size up the African teams in their world cup groups?
