The handle-mop brigade tracked Yusuf’s defection with far more enthusiasm than they ever showed over the prospect of the new landlord of Sokoto Prison, hoping, of course, that such an inconvenience would never materialise.

But the very moment the governor officially resigned from his former party, they executed a textbook U-turn. Suddenly, he “has only one vote,” and the same mouths that were foaming yesterday are now singing hymns in praise of Kwankwaso.

So one is forced to ask, if a sitting governor is now reduced to “just one vote,” how many votes does a senator command, the same senator they routinely escort to thanksgiving services during every so-called “Pitobi tsunami”?

On your mandate we shall stand! Finally Nigeria becomes unified one party government like China. Now we can focus on building our Nation instead of fighting each other in what the westerners call democracy but which in actual fact is divide and conquer system of government.

Tomorrow someone will tell me that Tinubu is a democrat.
The same thing he did as Governor of Lagos state, he fought the other political partys and silence them apart from the PDP, because PDP was the ruling party then.

A man who is secretly killing other political partys because he wants a one party system to avoid any form of opposition is not a democrat.

Welcome to the party of the progressives.
For the first time in my life, I actually walked into a location and registered as an APC member. I have never registered as a member of any party before.
Even in the US, I'm registered as an independent.
Now I'm glad to be an APC member, may be they will start to pay me that 30k that I have been accused of collecting all this while. grin

I'm going to put my voice and money into making sure that President Tinubu is re elected. More determined than ever before.

The way Omo-Agege stepped down for Sherriff abi? Same way Teslim stepped down for Adelabu abi? Same way Omisore stepped down for Ambo abi? We will all learn politics together. Tinubu is prioritising his own ambitions while sacrificing that of others and you delude yourself in thinking all will be well. Curiously, he protected his cousin's interest in Osun by preventing Adeleke from defecting to APC. The only state with that exception.
