At this point, it's obvious CAF isn't gonna take this towel business seriously coz it involves Morocco. All the talk of law and fairness is a facade when things like this keep getting ignored.
Lol it's obvious CAF won't do shit to Moroccan FA, didn't you see how Motsepe was sucking up to the whole Moroccan monarchy during the AFCON.

So NFF can't find a top European or South American world cup bound team willing to play us in this international friendly window? at least we are 3rd in CAF ranking and 26 in world rankings coming off an impressive AFCON with an exciting coach...surely a decent Euro team should find us worthy opponents to use to size up the African teams in their world cup groups?

Na wa o...
When we have playoff march?
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 7:35pm On Jan 26
This Forest sef. Wood is injured yes but they still have Igor Jesus, Awo and they just signed Lorenzo Lucca from Napoli on loan. All CFs. Now they wanna add Mateta. It's overkill.

As for Palace, losing Mateta leaves Uche and Johnson as their main CF options. Might be a chance to see Uche get more gametime.

lbrichman2:
Now Awoniyi seriously needs that move..
Go out on loan somewhere..

What was his reason for opting out, and was his reason justifiable, those are the necessary questions.

Okoye; Coachee thanks for naming me in the AFCON list, eventhough I have been inactive for long.

Coachee; No reason am my boy, we dey together.

Okoye; But coachee no vex oo; based on how my situation take dey now as person wey dun dey inactive for long, I hope say you go give me enough game time to bounce back to form?

Coachee; Hmmm I can't guarantee you that my boy because your senior bro remains the undisputed number 1

Okoye; Thanks for your sincerity Coachee, but please reason with me; e go really affect my form and the team too at the long run if I remain out of form for being away from action for too long(ban/inactive through the AFCON period). I think I will be more useful to the team when in form than when out of form.

Coachee: How you mean my boy

Okoye: Wetin I mean be say; e no go better make I use my club side gain form since my senior bro go cover the AFCON post, so that tomorrow, our team go parade two inform goalkeepers? That will also create an opportunity for Uzoho or any other option to re-anchor and make our team even more stronger after the AFCON. How you see am Coachee?

Coachee: E go hard oo, but you make sense, oya go your club go get your form back since I already have enough cover, but mind you, I go hijack you come Morocco if the injury to your senior brother relapses.

Okoye: Thanks for your understanding boss, I will be expecting your call during the course of the AFCON if my services are needed as you said. It is all for the good of our team at the long run.

Na the summary be this. E no touch anywhere.

Our best 3 are Nwabali, Okoye and Uzoho for now.
😂😂😂 You have good imagination but game time is different from demanding to be made number 1. He was told that if he wants to be number 1, he should fight for it. Na im he decide to stay back at Udinese. We no gree, him ma no gree. Everybody live the consequences of their choices.

You're right about Forest
They love a buying spree..
Was it not 2 or 3 seasons ago they bought a whole lot of new players?
I think Emmanuel Dennis and even Awo during that window,if I remember correctly..

I feel for Palace..
It's like everything they've built is crashing down
Sold Eze, Sold Guehi, now Mateta wants to leave, Glasner leaving at season's end, omo it's a lot to take in..
Their match form has been affected badly
Palace used to be hard to beat, now they can hardly pick up points..
I wish them and our man Uche, the best

This Oliseh ehn. Anyway as you know, I have always been Pro-Amunike and so is TheGoodJoe but right now, no way am I accepting a change of hands in the coaching reins of the Super Eagles. Absolutely not. Amunike is experienced and all, proven yes but let him keep doing his thing at Heartland in the NNL to bring them back into the NPFL.

I dont wanna have to start from square one especially with us heading in the right direction under Chelle.

Eric Chelle has given this team a bonafide playing identity. An attacking side who uses possession to transit directly, create chances upon chances and choke the opponents into conceeding more than they can try against us.

Eric Chelle has to be left to continue his work abeg while Amunike should continue his work at Heartland for now abeg.

Why change a good thing?
