Lagos Hosts Abia Commissioner Of Lands & Housing, Chukwumerije, On Study Tour by Slytiger(op): 8:23pm On Jan 26
Today, the Lagos State Government hosted the Honourable Commissioner for Lands and Housing, Abia State, Hon. Chaka Ikenna Chukwumerije @ChakaIkenna ,alongside officials from the Abia State Ministry of Lands, on a study tour to Lagos State.

The visit is aimed at learning and understanding Lagos State’s land administration framework, particularly the deployment of technology-driven solutions to address land-related challenges and enhance service delivery.

The delegation was received by the Special Adviser on eGIS and Urban Development, Dr Olajide Babatunde, where they held an interactive session and were taken on a guided tour of key facilities, including the ongoing Lagos GIS Centre, Land Digitization Centre, Lagos Land Archive, and the Electronic Physical Planning Centre.

The team also visited the Lagos State Lands Bureau, where they engaged with the Executive Secretary of Lands Bureau and other senior officials of the Department, exchanging insights and best practices in land administration and management.

Igbos hold no grudge against nobody, all we want is a working nation that works for all, a nation built on equity, fairness, justice, truth, empathy and inclusivity that bring communal progress for all Nigerians.

But some people say no, Nigeria must continue to function on cheating, nepotism, political marginalization, ganging up to snatch political right of others and thinking it makes them smarter and better. That will never stand no matter what, so for those that cherish Nigeria to remain one big nation, you all must caution your tribesmen who swore by their life that they will never be alive to see an Igbo man become President of Nigeria because if they continue, then it will happen when they are lying six feet below.

Well done Chukwumereije, if you see good thing that's working, copy it irrespective of where it's coming from, all we want is communal progress for all.

Thank you Lagos state government for welcoming our brother from Abia state.

This is the right way to go. Governance is about learning from a system that's working. This is why 15 states understudied lagos during Tinibu's tenure on revenue generation. Thank you Gov. Oti for doing the right thing

One of the biggest ways Govt can raise money is via Land Revenue. It is annual and should be affordable. It can generate great IGR and can guarantee revenues. If this is what Abia is studying from Lagos, this is a good thing. Just map each state into zones..some areas will be high tax rates based on estimated worth of properties...rural areas will be considered poor or low-income unless the houses are of great worth.

You collect taxes and use it to support the poor, build houses for ever increasing population, provide free mass-transits that support the poor and low income, and equip our hospitals, install CCTVs and create security stations to safeguard the cities. Nigerians do not need much, but we have leaders completely devoid of ideas. May Nigeria win

They know all these things you are saying, the only problem of an Igbo man in Nigeria is their high ambition to succeed.

Nigeria system want everyone to grow at snail speed, that is why they created the useless quota system to check others speed and development.

🤣🤣🤣🤣

When the righteous is in power, the people rejoice.
Otti came to Liberate the people of Abians and i want to believe the people of Abia are happy with him.
How i wish my State governor can emulate him, but he chooses to promise us with insecurities and 5 million votes for Tinubu when Edo state registered voters is not up to 2 million.
Shame wear me agbada on his behalf.

Without states there's no Federal, states and LGAs are the closest to the people, hence concentration should be on these sphere of governments!
