| Re: Mutual Funds by Batman2412(m): 6:52pm On Jan 28 |
If I decide to do trustbanc mmf directly while I'm already on trustbanc mmf via cowrywise, would there be any issues? That 250 bucks cowrywise collect from me each time I wanna top up trustbanc mmf can get me a bag of pure water |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Alaska90(m): 6:55pm On Jan 28 |
Creditalerts:OK thanks So the issue is known issue right? |

| Re: Mutual Funds by FRANKLYex: 7:40pm On Jan 28 |
Batman2412:the shopping arena wey cowrywise be is one of the benefit I enjoy with them. You can literally switch between fund managers without loosing any day return |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Batman2412(m): 7:43pm On Jan 28 |
I've downloaded trustbanc app and its alright, no service charge. How about i liquidate trustbanc mmf via cowrywise to fund trustbanc directly? Does it make sense? |
| Re: Mutual Funds by FRANKLYex: 7:47pm On Jan 28 |
welzyj2:But serious STANBIC is spoiling market for me. Currently doing the average of 17.65% annual yield with 6 fund managers managers only because STANBIC is still holding 33.5% of my fund.......... |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Batman2412(m): 7:47pm On Jan 28 |
Yeah, that was what i thought until i recently discovered there's trustbanc app (prime pro) which i just downloaded. No service charge. I'm thinking of using cowrywise to check rate while i invest in the choosen AM directly. Though I'm already in trustbanc mmf via cowrywise FRANKLYex: |

| Re: Mutual Funds by Kelzalfonso: 9:06pm On Jan 28 |
You guys should be careful with that Trustbanc, their displayed Interest Rate is different from what you get. They also dont update their rate on daily basis. Dont fall for their trap. Meanwhile there are many other FM to try. GTCO, AIICO Capital and Chapel Hill Denham (Investnaija). Their rates are consistent, stable and better than Stanbic and CO. |

welzyj2:I dont know about Creditalerts o, but i am very loyal always...... To the highest returns 😂 |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Preator: 9:39pm On Jan 28 |
Batman2412:I use Cowrywise for ease of switching. I can easily liquidate on same cowrywise and move to meristem, UCAP etc on same cowrywise same day without it passing through my bank statement. Given the new tax law which mandates banks to report cumulative transactions in excess of 50m(or 25m depending on which version of the law u are using), i will rather avoid prying eyes of the tax man by not allowing the fund movement show on my bank statements. For me, N250 is a small payment for that secrecy. |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Batman2412(m): 10:13pm On Jan 28 |
So I decided to fund trustbanc mmf directly via prime pro some couple of hours ago. Yeah, no charges. But the fund has not reflected on my dashboard. When I funded my trustbanc mmf via cowrywise, the funds reflected on my dashboard within few minutes. I'm beginning to think the extra N250 charges with cowrywise is worth it. I'm allergic to delays |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Preator: 11:37pm On Jan 28 |
Batman2412:Might take a couple of days to show 😂. Or might not. But it will definitely show up. |

Please who really know much about GT MMF as I appear to be a new beginner as their daily rate often appears fairly attractive since started with them. |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Preator: 7:03am On Jan 29 |
Batman2412:No o. I mean it might take a couple of days or not up to that. It will definitely show |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Batman2412(m): 7:14am On Jan 29 |
Oh thank God. No mind me bro. Thanks for the clarification Preator: |
| Re: Mutual Funds by rukyboy(m): 10:11am On Jan 29 |
Princewalexy99:How do you check their daily rates |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Princewalexy99: 10:16am On Jan 29 |
You can check their daily rates on their site or if u bank with them, u can check on their mobile app. Attached is a screen shot showing their previous daily rate.
|
| Re: Mutual Funds by rukyboy(m): 11:14am On Jan 29 |
Princewalexy99:I checked on my bank app. I saw where they listed the gtmmf. But no rates. Let me see of I can leave these stanbic people and their low rates and port to something better |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Princewalexy99: 11:25am On Jan 29 |
I think it should be there under investments... When you click on it, it should bring out the rates as I can presently access at the moment. I registered on their money market fund via Web browser and I then link it to my Gt mobile account which makes transactions more easier. You can also check via Web browser to check it. |
