It's funny how some of you expect Gala to beat City away. And Osimhen to perform magic against a far better team😆

And you claim to know how football works😂

To those who were hyperactive about the match between Man City and Galatasaray because they wanted to see who the better striker was between Haaland and Osimhen, I hope you've gotten your answer now and the debate can finally come to an end. 🤷🏽‍♂️

No more excuses; there's no shame in admitting the obvious. It's clear for all to see (as it has been for quite some time really).

Meanwhile, here's Haaland consoling Osimhen after the game. Great sportsmanship from him 👏👏👏

You are comparing Gala budget with Man City grin
Gala aint even on Dortmunds level in modern football
Wait for Osimhen to get his big move before we compare

LMAO, it's barely been 10 minutes since I made that post and the excuses have already started coming in. 🤣🤣

Guy, just accept the truth for what it is and stop trying to shift the goalposts. 🤣

Raphael Onyedika shone today (wednesday) in midfield in Club Brugge's 3-0 vs Marseille (3rd in Ligue 1) in the UCL. Won the most duels ( 8 ) in the game, helped his double pivot partner get forward while he sat and was just imperious throughout that even an independent observer had this to say.....

The most frustrating thing about this Bossoflife goof is that not only does he oversell the achievements of the current Super Eagles... No that's not enough for him! He's still willing to downplay the achievements of other squads just to push his tone-deaf narratives. It's exhausting to see and it's a perfect summation of the average Nigerian football fan today.
the next thing the ogogoro analyst will say is
“arguing with you is a waste of time” or “i cant wash my sef in the mud with you”

Like someone will just “full-chestedly be moomooing” himself🤣🤣 in the name of trying to make a densely whack point…..”Super eagles of this generation are the greatest in the history of Nigerian football”yen yen yen yen….omo some peeps dey think left left here shaa🤣🤣

South Africa might be able to scrape by as one of the best 3rd place teams. After that, it's game over.

Morocco should scale through their group easily. They may even top it. But when it comes to the knockout stage, I feel they'll be among the first to fall.

Same goes for Ivory Coast, only slightly harder. I definitely don't see them topping.

I agree that Tunisia is cooked.

On paper, Egypt should be having an easy group but I don't trust them. Egypt at the World Cup have been perennial minnows.

Cape Verde might as well not attend the tournament. They'll likely not get a single point. If they're lucky they'll draw with an inconsistent Uruguay side or with Saudi but that's it. The only bright side for them is that they can beat their chests and say they went to the World Cup.

Senegal will likely settle for third, or may not even make it out in my humble opinion. I don't how their defense can withstand France and Norway. I see them losing both games by slim margins. AFCON showed how shaky their defense can be. They should progress as one of the best third place teams though.

Algeria's group is way tougher than it looks. Austria is good but Jordan is a banana peel as well. If Algeria mess around, they could even finish bottom.

DR Congo would get bullied in that group. Even Uzbekistan would give them hell. I wouldn't be surprised if they finished last. Eric Chelle's Nigerian side would do a lot better here. A win against Uzbekistan is sure. A win against Colombia too, and probably even a win against Portugal if Ronaldo and the boys aren't careful.

Ghana is absolutely cooked in my opinion. I don't see them getting more than 2 points in that group, and that's me being generous. I would'nt even be surprised if they lose to Panama. This current Ghana team is absolute shyte. This World Cup qualification did them no favors because it made them look far better than they are. They should be in for a rude awakening this summer.
Godbless you😀😀….i love this🔥🔥🙏..

20 y/o 🇳🇬 FW prospect Abubakar Abdullahi bagged a brace for Gent U23 in their 2-4 loss vs League leaders, SK Beveren in the Belgian Challenger Pro.

He just clocked 20 on January 27th.

The talented lad is now on 8goals, 1 assist in 17 games (16 starts).

Recall that he belongs to the 2023 Naija U17 Class that had Emmanuel Michael, Ebube Okere, Yahaya Lawali, Ozor Okeke, Basil Mbata etc...

Osimhen in Madrid or Barca vs Halaand in Mancity, thats when i will compare both of them….at this point Halaand’s Mancity is way way a cheat above Galatasaray…..Osimehn needs to leave that club asap….Napoli is even ahead of Gala in rating and strength

Terem Moffi leaves Nice for Porto and has an 8M euros purchase option attached to the deal.

Recall that Terem Moffi and Jeremie Boga were attacked, physically assaulted by their own fans after a 3-1 loss vs Lorient on November 30, 2025. Moffi has not played for Nice ever since that incident. Same as Boga.

So nice move for Moffi. His competition is a young Naija Spanish FW in Samu Aghehowa (fmrly Omorodion).

😲 Oh, so now you know that both teams are not on the same level? Interesting... 🤔

Would you have said this if Osimhen had scored while Haaland didn't, and then Galatasaray went on to win the match? Of course, not. Now that the reverse is obviously the case, let's all blame Osimhen's teammates, right? Awesome 👏👏🤣🤣

You need to MAN UP and stop running from the truth, lest you end up sounding like a sore loser. 😂🤣
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 1:32am On Jan 29
Osimhen is still the King of the Strikers. Standing up to the European Juggernauts that is Man City in their Etihad home backed by a team of Gala's quality (in comparison to City) was always gonna be a big ask but one which some of us knew Osimhen wont back down from.
3 out of Gala's 4 shots on target vs Man City were all Osimhen. A header and 2 right foot strikes all saved by Donnarumma. He was a huge threat as expected but the Overall team quality of the Mighty Cityzens in Man City shone through.

Gala lost but there is no question on who the most feared and most respected striker in England, outside the EPL is....... It remains one name: "Victor Osimhen"

Next up in the UCL for Osimhen and Gala is a round of 32 KO clash vs Onyedika's and Osuji's Club Brugge.

You labor under misapprehension that I care for these versus cat fights o.

A goal & win for Osimhen will only have added more fire to my tirade against Top clubs for missing out.

You and the fanboys can knock yourself out. I'm just telling you're in the same mud pool with the ones you're slinging at.

You get it. If I was ever going to get into all the comparison, it'd be when there's good grounds for head to head.

I remember I wished for him to have a good Afcon, UCL, and a WC (make the DRC case no disappoint) he'd be able to attract a move. EPL needs to be humble

You know, Mourinho admits that he had made all his changes before that one moment of magic.

In his words,
"When I made the last changes, I was told [that] is enough, so let's close the door... Then they tell me we need one more goal, but I cannot make more changes."

Then just before the FK is taken, Mourinho does this (below), motioning to Trubin to go forward and join his outfield teammates in the box to provide extra aerial threat. Who would have thought that one seemingly insignificant decision will produce such magical moment?

Even Courtois had to acknowledge after the game. Better header from GK. Some CFs should take notes.
