Igoh Ogbu played CCB in Slavia's 3-man backline system and lasted 61mins as he was injured and subbed out. Pafos went on to score 2 more goals after Ogbu left the field as Slavia collapsed at the back losing 4-1. No David Moses as he is nursing an injury. |

Odunayaw:Lol, if you didn't care, you wouldn't have mentioned me with the same silly excuse that you and your fellow fan girls/boys and co-worshippers have been parading since you lost the match. You could have simply scrolled past my post. It's pretty easy to do, but you didn't, which means it must have struck a painful nerve in you somewhere, and you just couldn't help but voice out your pain, and I completely understand. Instead of worrying about slings, you should be worried about why a harmless post that simply calls for the acceptance of the obvious reality annoyed you so much that you attacked it and then hid behind the facade of "I don't care about your cat fights". 🤣🤣 It's like being caught trying to tear down a billboard and then claiming you don't care about what it was addressing. 🤣🤣 Like I said earlier. MAN UP and accept the truth in front of you. Your name won't change if you do. Good morning 😎 |

Adam Yakubu, CDM also left AS Trencin even before Sani swapped them for Leipzig. Yakubu signed with LNZ Cherkasy in the Ukrainian Premier Liga. Cherkasy are neck and neck for the league title with Shakhtar Donetsk. |

Naija's CB cover breakdown: LCBs, RCBs Emmanuel Oluwasegun Opeyemi Fernandez is right footed but he is an LCB. A potential great cover for Calvin Bassey. I like the look of him. We also have Igoh Ogbu at LCB plus he is also a CCB specialist. Chibuike Nwaiwu is a CCB and RCB specialist. Gonna be a fine solid option at RCB. Experienced Semi Ajayi at RCB had a great Afcon and Boy wonder and 1st choice Pre-Afcon, Benjamin Frederick at RCB when he returns makes that side of the CB role really stacked. Vince Osuji, another CB prospect is quite special as he excels in both LCB and RCB roles. He played more as a LCB in Sweden at Kalmar but has been used in both LCB and RCB roles at Club Brugge NXT. His senior league debut saw him feature at RCB though. In any case, Osuji is gonna mature into a cover for both LCB and RCB duties. Like him or hate him, Chidozie Awaziem is still an option until phased out. Provides cover as a RCB mainly as seen in his La Liga days & currently in Ligue 1 even though he's also featured at LCB in the MLS and in the 20/21 season at Boavista in Portugal. Others like Emmanuel Chukwu, Emmanuel Okereke, etc plus any other dual national (e.g. Marcandalli) that we snap up ensures our CB pool stays deep for the present and the future. |

It seems fair but they dont seem to take into account the Moroccan Ball Boys and Officials' involvement in the Nwabali towel incident. They focused on the ball boys' inappropriateness in the final only. APOTY, Hakimi suspension is a very fine call. I hope the media can hammer on how the reigning APOTY dragged himself into such unsporting mess. Saibari should have gotten more than 3 games suspension. He was a total disgrace in that final. Your teammates dey for bench, but u go stand for your opponent goal dey do bad belle. Unprofessionally disgusting. Fine for Fans' use of lasers?? Really?? I hope they ready another laser report coz we will likely see same at Wafcon 2026. Senegal got the heftier fines as expected but they will be fine. Thiaw wont be on the touchline for the next 5 CAF organised matches beginning from the Afcon qualifiers. Fair enough as it does not affect Senegal's World Cup. lovewins: |

How much is the reward from the AFCON win again. The fine money should be removed from it by Senegal, these are the kind of fines you would be happy to pay for a just cause. If I was a Senegalese, I'll be willing to donate for the FA to pay for the fine as well. lovewins: |

Omo but forget o, Nigeria really did wonders at this last AFCON. Played against all 4 major North African powerhouses and didn't lose a single game. And it was only Morocco that gave us problem but even they couldn't get anything tangible from us. We bullied the other three. NFF needs to give Chelle all the help he needs abeg. In 2-3 years, as long as there's no funny business, this Super Eagles team may become too big for Africa. |

Bossoflife25:My bro, you make excuses for this generation but downplay the success of other generations that actually won trophies and qualified for world cups. This crop of players from the 2019 AFCON cycle to now have underachieved and cannot be considered the greatest. No AFCON win and no WC appearance. No showing at the olympics seff The coming crop from AFCON2027 is still to be determined where they’ll fare. |

FiveFootNinja:We have an identity again. My hope is we improve our scouting, recruiting and development of talent from youth to senior team. I want to see more consistency in our player call-ups in the future. |

lovewins:To be honest, Senegal got off very lightly. $600K can easily be paid by the players themselves. 5 game ban for Thiaw? That’s just 5 of 6 games in the next AFCONQ, he’ll still be at the next WC and AFCON. I even thought CAF would ban them from the next AFCON |

SymphonyRad:Because Morocco is involved. CAF wouldn't want to impose heavy punishment on Morocco. If they fine Senegal heavily and impose a light punishment on Morocco, there will be outrage. They wouldn't want the world to see them as being partial. |

minfelix:But not on the UCL table. I can live with that 😁 Omo those players don't play on Osimhen's level at all. Gundogan was more of a Man City spy and fanboy than a Galatasaray player and captain yesterday. Thank God it was a respectable scoreline. I really needed Osimhen to score tho. That one don go Beyen.
