The refs that caused this problem was not sanctioned because he was playing to the gallery of CAF. So he can't be sanctioned.

I was really very disappointed seeing a top star like hakimi following morrocan fans to collect the towels of opposition goalkeepers very embarrassing to watch. Am sure fifa will start thinking twice of allowing morroco to be amongst the countries to host the 2030 world cup.

Have you checked the rules? If the rules were followed stringently, Senegal was even supposed to forfeit the match. The sanctions are very lenient for the gravity of the offence.

One of the worst things to happen to Nigeria, African and world football is the absence of Nigeria at the World Cup.
Nigeria hit a good form at AFCON and I had no doubt in my mind that Nigeria would make a much better representation at the World Cup than countries like Congo DR, Algeria, Morocco, Egypt and South Africa. Sad we blew our opportunity.
If only Oshomiohole, Ganduje and Jagaban were the oga patapatas at CAF, Nigeria would’ve been smuggled in and another qualification organised for Algeria, Congo, South Africa and Egypt to slug it out again. Shame.

In short, all of this represents an opportunity for CAF to generate even more revenues.

I would like FIFA to also wade in and sanction CAF for the referees' high-handedness, so that they don't see this as an opportunity to provoke inappropriate reactions from players or the technical team for the sole purpose of generating more revenue
