Sad news again cry Samuel Chukwueze lost his Mom to a brief illness.
Nwabali, Ndidi, now Chukwueze. I am tempted to ask what the hell is happening but then I know Death has no scheduled calendar of events. It just comes whenever it wants.

Sincere condolences to Samu Chukwueze. Interesting how this news will humble Nigerians again and make them have a rethink to remember that these lads are indeed humans first before footballers... coz I recall the bashings they meted out to Chuks.

RIP to Mrs Sarah Chukwueze. She will always be remembered for this moment.

The bold is true. A lot of us myself included were tough on Chukwueze. Maybe our criticism was unduly harsh. Yes we can critique someone's performance but always leave room for grace.

My bro! You can read the last two sentences. I put the conditions there! I did not add the 2027 and 2028 AFCON because I believe we will win both!
mrwilliams9:
My bro, you make excuses for this generation but downplay the success of other generations that actually won trophies and qualified for world cups. This crop of players from the 2019 AFCON cycle to now have underachieved and cannot be considered the greatest. No AFCON win and no WC appearance. No showing at the olympics seff

The coming crop from AFCON2027 is still to be determined where they’ll fare.

Olisa Ndah leavss Orlando Pirates

Orlando Pirates Football Club can confirm that the Club has reached a mutual agreement with defender Olisa Ndah to part ways.

The Nigerian international requested an early release from his contract, a decision that follows careful and respectful discussions between the player and the Club’s management. Central to these conversations was a shared understanding to afford Ndah the opportunity to secure regular game time elsewhere as he enters the next phase of his career.

Ndah, 28, joined the Buccaneers in 2021 and quickly established himself as a commanding presence at the heart of defence. Strong in the tackle, assured in possession and uncompromising in his commitment, he brought both steel and composure to the backline during a pivotal period for the Club.

Over the course of more than 80 appearances at the Club, Ndah consistently embodied the values of Orlando Pirates. On the pitch, he was dependable and disciplined; off it, he was a model professional who represented the badge with distinction.

The Club respects Ndah’s desire for increased minutes on the field and acknowledges his honest engagement with management throughout the process. It is in this spirit of mutual respect that an amicable decision was reached.

Orlando Pirates Football Club would like to thank Olisa for his professionalism, dedication and service to the Club. We wish him every success in the next chapter of his career, both on a personal level and in his continued journey in the game.

Man is already anticipating more millions via sell on clauses from Fernandez's next move.

Also said they got offers from 2 Serie A clubs before Rangers even made their move on him.

Galatasaray gave Man City the respect that was uncalled for.

A team that has illkay Gundogan and Gabriel Sara which are finer midfielders in my reckoning when compared to Man City's Benardo Silva and Nico O'Reilly, shouldn't have held back in the manner they did against Man City in the first half. Man City's wingers were the real magicians that did the work.

Galatasaray players have the stamina that can unsettle any team and yet in the first half of the game they appeared a bit held back, not pressing as required, they shouldn't have allowed Man City the psychological edge.

Galatasaray really came out to play in the second half, and Man City became blunt.

I think we will definitely win 2027 or at least make the final.

2028 I don’t think will hold. I think CAF will merge 20027 and 2028

Emmanuel Fernandez is a really decent CB talent but his positional sense when defending needs some work. This is where Benjamin Frederick already excels in at 20. For Fernandez at 24, I expect he will improve and surely get even better. If anyone watched him for the first time today and judged him straight off this porto game, one may not exactly see what is there to like but he is quality.

Omo na wa ooo... Juventus collect 3x from one GK across 3 different clubsides in the UCL. They hated his butt. grin

Ofcos our own Enyeama's goal came against a Ligue 1 side. Later went on to play in Ligue 1 for Lille.

19 y/o Anglo Nigerian AM, Jamaldeen Ayomide Jimoh-Aloba scored the winner off the bench for Aston Villa in their 3-2 win over RB Salzburg in the Europa League.

It secured Villa's 2nd place finish in the UEL league phase and sent Salzburg crashing out of the UEL.

Another one to look at. Capped officially at U17 level for England. Involved in only friendlies at U20 level for England.

I may be exaggerating but the way Benjamin fredericks plays scream real Madrid mancity Liverpool Juventus. The boy to me is too good for an average team in the top 5 league. He seems made for the very best. Forget playing positions. His potential is similar to the way a teenage mikels was. Benjamin Frederick football intelligence is more than a lot of players older than him. I don't know if he will end up there but I will not be surprised if real Madrid buys him one day. He can even play midfield.

If fifa verdict favour the super eagles they will play the winner between new canardonia vs Jamaica in the playoffs. If the super eagles win they will be in Portugal group in the FIFA world cup 2026 so they may change they mind to play another big Africa country . If the verdict favour us eventually

Playing Portugal before World cup is not a good move ooo. What if we win our case against DR Congo and then beat Jamaica in world cup playoff. We will then meet the same Portugal in the group stages.
