Subzero0477:
They didn't hold back they were outplayed, remember that Man city were playing with Doku, Haaland and Cherki in attack, they tried the best they can
They had respect for Man City and did not press high up the pitch. They were a tad conservative

Did you watch Galatasaray against Ajax and Bodo/Glimt, especially against Bodo/Glimt.
They were all about intensity and adrenaline. Very few teams can match up.
The game against Man City in the second half, came to a point where Man City iwanted to tone down the game's pace.

Galatasaray should take advantage of their team's intensity and stamina.

The UCL Playoffs draw is done
Note: It is a 2-legged playoff affair to determine who joins the Top 8 league phase teams in the Round of 16.

1. Benfica vs Real Madrid Parts 2 & 3 loading.
Mourinho in another battle dance series with Madrid

2. Club Brugge vs Atlético Madrid
Raphael Onyedika and Vince Osuji up against Simeone's titans

3. Galatasaray vs Juventus.
Victor Osimhen will be up against the Coach he won Serie A with... Luciano Spaletti

4. Olympiakos vs Bayer Leverkusen.
Bruno Onyemaechi comes up against Boniface's former club

5. Borussia Dortmund vs Atalanta.
Ademola Lookman up against the German opposition from Dortmund

Others are:
6. Bodø Glimt vs Inter Milan
7. Qarabag vs Newcastle United.
8. AS Monaco vs Paris Saint-Germain.

Number 3..
Might this open the door for Osimhen to move to Juve?
Knowing full well Spaletti's impact on his game that season..
The problem is, Juve would struggle to pay what he's earning at Gala..
Should be two good and entertaining games nonetheless
Gala can spring a surprise if they get their acts together
Juve aren't having the best of seasons..

Atalanta and Dortmund
Both teams have been inconsistent this season..
Difficult one to predict..

Looks to me like the end of the road for Olympiacos and Club Brugge

I feel for French football
As Monaco and PSG..
Sadly one will have to leave

Bodo Glimt!!
This stubborn and fearless group of players!!
They will fancy their chances against Inter, especially at home..
But over 2 legs, I expect Inter's superiority to prevail..

But this is football
Anything can happen

Wow 5 out of 6 EPL teams made it to r16
Barcelona, Bayern Munich & Sporting, the non English teams that could make it
Let’s see if Mourinho’s goalie will score again or it was a fluke, Real Madrid will definitely seek revenge grin

🟡🔵 Fenerbahçe are closing in on Ademola Lookman deal with Atalanta!

Following new meeting today, deal at final stages for €40m package — with add-ons included.

More steps needed on payment terms and bank guarantees as key steps to get it done.

I read a report that said the first phase of the UCL favours the English teams because of their bigger squads and the next phase of the UCL would favour other teams especially as the epl games would be coming faster back to back..
Let's see if that holds true..

I'm thinking we will have 6 English teams in the round of 16 anyway
Newcastle should clear Qarabag

I think EPL teams are just battle tested
If you ask me I think the style of play in EPL is what helps their teams in this Ucl edition
Pure physicality, although in the late stages of the UCL or season fatigue may set in
EPL is the toughest league
Teams like Bournemouth can beat a Man City if city don’t come with their best on good day
I rarely see small teams do that to Barcelona i

Inter offer was reasonable, but Atalanta refused to sell. Remember Lookman will be 29 this year.
