This season’s transfers involving Nigerian players have been quite ironic. Players many expected to secure big moves have ended up at underwhelming clubs, while those who weren’t heavily hyped are making respectable moves that better match their level of play examples include Iheanacho to Celtic and Moffi to Porto.

Sani Suleiman was well rated and talked about by me and he moved to RB Leipzig (Bundesliga) this winter window. So it is not all right and left.

They should have pressed against an attack of Haaland, Doku and Cherki so that they'll be walloped 5:0 and miss the playoffs, they played the reasonable way a team of Galatasaray's stature would play against Man city keeping in mind that a respectable loss still takes them to the playoffs, Man city took their foot off the pedal in the second half but still created 2 clear chances that would have been goals if not for poor finishing
A good press will do a lot.

It will make sure the ball doesn't get to those players you mentioned.
They will have to drop deeper to get the ball and that is good damage control

You really watched the match, Lucas Torreira that was benched because the coach wanted Gundogan to start was the problem in the first place. Lucas Torreira does not hold back against any opponent. He's the engine of Galatasaray's midfield but a silent worker, Okan benched him to start Gundogan as, I don't know, maybe a gift or something. Gundogan was too slow in that game. Immediately Torreira came on in the second half, Galatasaray started pressing, but Man City's defence was compact and organized.

Again, chances were not created for Osimhen because there wasn't/isn't a proper creator in the game, apart from Sane, the remaining attacking players prefer to dribble and lose the ball than attempt to find their striker in the box.
Galatasaray should try and secure Ademola Lookman, It will boost their attack.

🟡🔵 Fenerbahçe and Atalanta are still negotiating on payment terms plus bank guarantees for Lookman deal.

Fee agreed at €40m package but no green light yet on payment details.

Fener have Sidiki Cherif deal eventually advanced with Angers at loan with buy obligation at €22m plus add-ons.

Devin Özek is NOT in France despite reports, he’s still in Italy.

29 is not prime! 29 na retirement age
Ademola made the best decision.
Collecting peanuts for years, however, he should be thankful to Atalanta who gave him the chance when everything looks bleak!
Goodluck Mola!!!!

What Guardiola wants is for you to press him btw to pick you apart, Galatasaray came with a game plan and executed it well.

Guardiola was afraid of a high press, believe me.

Guardiola adopted a 4-1-4-1, similar to the Moroccan 4-1-4-1 in order to curb Galatasaray's intensity and high press.
Guardiola anticipated it, Galatasaray should have gone ahead with their style of play, they have the players to execute it.
They shouldn't have held back.

The second half of the game told everything.

8m pounds? Osimhen will be playing at Barca at such prize. Lookman will be at Inter at such prize.
You can see why perspectives matter!
If Moffi is 15m nobody will buy him!
Respect Osimhen and Lookman and stop downplaying their transfers!

Lookman paying Atalanta back! He doesn't want to sign for Fene.
Deal seems off!
He wants Athletico but Athletico is offering 10m less than Fene!

No player at 29 is being bought for 40-45m, yet Inter was ready to pay in the summer.
But some emotional peeps here said nobody is bidding for our players. Amnesia or normal cry cry? Atalanta should free Lookman abeg!
