Eventhough the stock market wasn't so winning last week, here are Top 10 stocks that really gained. (Link below) One of the reason stocks didn't perform well last week was because most Investors moved funds into the capital market as the capital market did well last week, especially if you do fixed income and MMF. The reason is simple, banks wanted to balance their books for the month end so they needed liquidity, people in the capital market provided it even Stanbic mmf that used to be around 15% jumped to 16%. https://youtube.com/shorts/qdc6a0EoNz8?feature=share |

bassdow:thanks. Help us check if prime pro na cloned app. I no dey enjoy the app. E come dey like say cowrywise dey more transparent as middleman of trustbanc than prime pro. The delay with prime pro when posting transferred funds to mmf and posting interest on the mmf is too much. I'm even contemplating liquidating my mmf in prime pro to fund same trustbanc mmf in cowrywise |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Jayce242: 2:08pm On Feb 01 |
Batman2412:Exactly my brother I no understand that prime pro app The app is not responsive at all, cowrywise is more responsive. Up till now I'm unable to verify my nin on their app to complete my profile. |

Batman2412:I only use torchLight phones hence no mobile apps. if I can't use your platform on PC, then I'm not your customer. |

tagonn077:my decision is my choice 🙄 I suspect this moniker as Sharon too😫 |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Creditalerts: 4:59pm On Feb 01 |
To all those using trustbanc app pro don't panic the problem with Nigerians is trust issues.they are legit I only followed @preator advice I want my money to be in one place (cowrywise) so that I can switch easily to evade tax masters hammer . |
| Re: Mutual Funds by AncestralPowers: 5:20pm On Feb 01 |
Don't mind these newbies, their blood is too hot, they always act like know everything without really knowing nothing and never listens to the words of financial wisdom. Particular this Creditalert, his gragra is something else, like someone who has never seen money or fortune before.... All the financial gurus with decades of experience are observing from the backseat. tagonn077: |

AncestralPowers:I have not seen o ozuor !!! Ekpa !!! Orue!🙄 |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Alaska90(m): 5:41pm On Feb 01 |
Creditalerts:That App is nonsense. I have not been able to validate my BVN on the app for like a week now. I have called the support but they have not been able to resolve the issue. Meristem app still the best for me ....the app is so seamless. I have never spoken with anyone in Meristem for anything. I do everything through their app. The next app for me is MyInvestar. I have lost interest now in trustbanc app...but their rate is still attaractive to me |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Creditalerts: 5:46pm On Feb 01 |
Alaska90:as I earlier said I use them through cowrywise and I get updated on my accrued intrest daily so sweet and sharp my second love is FirstAlly. 🙂🤑 |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Alaska90(m): 5:46pm On Feb 01 |
AncestralPowers:What is their usefulness on the board if they are just going to be observing from backseat without contributing to correct or teach others |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Preator: 6:09pm On Feb 01 |
Creditalerts:See roping. I said that's why i dey do am. I no ask you to follow me o. Just to clarify. Moving your mmf funds through your bank account doesnt make it taxable no matter how huge it is. Just that you will have to prove to the tax man that it is from an already taxed source. And hope dey do not see something else while review the non taxable ones I always prefer to avoid explanations 😂 esp with tax people. |
| Re: Mutual Funds by AncestralPowers: 6:17pm On Feb 01 |
They are not completely out of teaching the house about finance, they just want to give these newbies some time to flex their new found financial talents.... Let Creditalerts teach us for a while, he knows everything about the industry. Alaska90: |

AncestralPowers:sharon stone is that you🤣🤣🤣 |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Beeron: 6:53pm On Feb 01 |
AncestralPowers:while you seemingly see some people as newbie and you the experienced one who just observes from the back seat. It doesn't make both the newbies and the self proclaimed experts special if when the macro economy crashes tomorrow and everyone loses money in the process because no one will be immune to financial collapse except you invest in a foreign land with foreign currency. My point is: instead of classism type segregation talk or expert vs newbie type conversation. Let us continue to help each other, teach each other, the only enemy we are all fighting against is poverty. And every one goal here is a life of financial freedom. I have been on Nairaland since 2011 and started contributing on this thread since 2017 when I began MMF but you wouldn't know because this is my third moniker/account. Let's fight the common enemy known as poverty. |

Batman2412:From TrustBanc website, the app listed there for download is the Prime by Trustbanc, I can't find Prime Pro in the website. Prime Pro needs to be investigated |
| Re: Mutual Funds by AncestralPowers: 7:24pm On Feb 01 |
Well said @Beeron, you are highly respected here... Creditalert is a cool guy, his activeness here is also useful as well, I just wanted to crack him a bit.. I sheathe my sword 🗡️ Poverty is indeed the real enemy. I be old skool here oh, I also changed my moniker... Beeron: |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Creditalerts: 7:31pm On Feb 01 |
AncestralPowers:no don't sheath your sword bring it on come out o I'm the cause of the poverty, high unemployment rate and insecurity in Nigeria. Yeye dey smell 🤣🤣🙄😫 |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Beeron: 7:40pm On Feb 01 |
AncestralPowers:Nice one bros, you too much. My respect to you. I deduced Creditalert kind of person, he is the kind of person who never EVER want to lose money but loves high MMF yield - lol- he gets very scared at the mention of any other type investment if it isn't MMF, one time I had to even call him a fear monger because of how kept instilling fear in the mind of people who want to try Equity mutual fund. I love people like him, they don't joke or mess around with money and never put their money where they don't understand. But they always want high MMF rates lol. If you understand him from that angle, you will understand he is just a conservative investor and just expressing that with his jokes here. Thanks for your understanding sir. More money to your already fat bank account. *Takes a bow* |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Beeron: 7:41pm On Feb 01 |
