Hebrews 10:25 is quite clear on a believer not going to church. And I don't think you can say in a whole town there's no church worth fellowshipping with the brethren. If you say so, then that's a huge case of self-righteousness, and God does not like self-righteous people. All Christians are saved and called to good works, but they are not justified by their own works.
The Bible says when it comes to good works, Abraham has much to glory about, but certainly not before God. So if you consider yourself a believer who is saved by grace and justified by faith in the finished works of Christ, fellowship with the brethren and continue with personal study and prayer.

When you meet your maker than you will tell him that because some Pastor's did wrong things was the reason you stopped going to church that scripture clearly told us to be part of the church. The church is the body of Christ and scripture admonished us not to miss the gathering of the brethren. At the end some of this pastors that people criticise will still make heaven while those who criticised them may miss heaven.

Some truth therein. Walking with God is personal and deeply spiritual. The Bible is the road map. A Pastor can be a guide if he's upright and imbued with God's wisdom. If not, he falls into the category of wolves in sheep's clothing as stated in the Bible. We should run from those ones no doubt.

Above all, people should learn to develop a personal relationship with their God. According to the Bible, we're all gifted and capable of doing great things. A Pastor is human like everyone else.
