The Grammy awards is for the American music audience NOT for the Nigerian/African music audience.

Tyla's song "Water" was massive in the USA (the world's largest music market). The song made Tyla mainstream in that country even outside it.

Many American music listeners have no idea who Davido is.He may be a god in Osun,kaduna,Oyo,Lagos etc but in America?Many folks have no idea who he is.
