Frank the tank

28-year old Super Eagles midfielder Frank Onyeka has joined EFL Championship club Coventry City on loan from Brentford for the rest of the season. The deal will be made permanent if Coventry achieve promotion to the Premier League.

What do you think of the move?

Goodluck, Frank 💪🏾

I saw a sentence somewhere that stated it’s more difficult to score in serie A than la Liga
And that’s one reason why Chukwueze struggled in Italy
Just curious to find out if Lookman would score more in Spain

As long as Frank plays under Frank, then Coventry's EPL promotion push will not tank coz the Tank called Frank is here to start, lift and frankly dominate.

I like it!!! He would learn under the great midfield Trojan Lampard himself. I dare say, Iwobi became born again after working with Lamps at Everton, unfortunately the team didn't do well.
And also once and hopefully they gain promotion, he would be back in the EPL.

Get ready to watch him attack down and from the left flank in the Bundesliga.

Good coz he needs gametime. He has been benched in the last 4-5 games at Montpellier (first loan club). Frustrating.

Hopefully Nancy gives him chances in same ligue 2.

It was an impressive game for Simon. There's one dribble he pulled to beat two Angolans at the sidelines in the game too

Since Taiye Taiwo left Marseille, I don't recall any Nigerian playing for them.
You don't see much Nigerian players playing in France. Although the few that play there usually excel.

Flying Eagles of Nigeria 2-0 Argentina: A Solid Famous Win for Nigeria over a Bogey team and the host. Mascherano falters his second chance after he failed in the Conmebol U20 qualifiers - Part 1.

........
#8 Tochukwu Nnadi. Nnadi is a such a pearl in the middle of this Nigerian side. He brings the energy, the intensity and that decent level of technicality in our progressive vertical plays. Call him the "Michael Essien" of this team and you won't be far from the truth. A box to box demon.
His role vs Argentina ensured that Daga didn't have to go Box-to-Box this time. Nnadi's role interpretation was key to why Daga was able to focus solely on sitting in front of the back 4 and screening that defence with Poise and class.
He completed 24 passes (75% passing accuracy), attracted 3 fouls to ease pressure on the Flying Eagles and recorded sound defensive stats (2 interceptions, 1 tackle, 1 block).

His biggest moment in the game was when he came so close to putting Nigeria ahead on 58mins with a beautiful strike from outside the box which rattled the Argentine Cross bar following a corner kick situation.

Nnadi's ability to escape the press, ballplay in plays progression and defend in off ball situations make him quite the Bison in midfield. Another solid performance from the Botev lad.
.......

I literally termed this kid a bison and Michael Essien way back in 2023 after our round of 16 win vs Argentina at the U20 WC.

So, you can say that again.

I remember sharing it on X/twitter back then when waxing lyrical about him on the platform.

Excited to see his further growth in Ligue 1. When it's your time, it is your time.
