brightk:@brightk, good you are here because the first step towards investment after your decision to invest is knowledge. You will learn here, but first set your investment objective, i.e., the reason you want to invest, which will guide you on the information to seek. This will also help you while going through this thread; you will know how to filter what you read and take the ones that are relevant to you. You can go through pages 410 to 430 and then get some other materials online that talk about mutual funds generally. My number is on my signature. Get in touch for a voice note that explains how mutual funds work. You are welcome to the class where money is made without tears! |

I do not understand what is wrong with Stanbic...the gap is too much...more than 4% I just funded Trustbanc with 100K this morning to test run.... brightk: |
| Re: Mutual Funds by LoriHamo: 7:02pm On Feb 02 |
I am really not happy...I have about 5M in Stanbic.... that would give better yield if the rate is good.. It's disappointing Creditalerts: |

Prime pro trustbanc is actually a genuine app, I invested and withdraw within few days for a test. They called me and sent a follow up mail requesting some documents I didn't upload before the withdrawal can be processed further. I replied and boom credit alert within few hours. No charges at all. Just for your information...

| Re: Mutual Funds by tempest12: 8:12pm On Feb 02 |
I'm a lover of fintech, all my banking and investment activities are all fintech for a long time now. I'm actually using Trustbanc via COWRYWISE. I just wanted to test the app and know it's flexibility. The only advantage is that you get your withdrawal same day and no charges when investing and withdrawing anytime you wish. COWRYWISE main advantage is weekend withdrawal after 24hours boring count down. Ren Money flexible 17percent which is stable is also good compare to most MMF rate. For fix deposit, I used fairmoney they have the best rate for fintech so far. Just for information please.. Creditalerts: |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Creditalerts: 8:27pm On Feb 02 |
tempest12:Nice one when I hear people complain about fintech I laugh because technology is innovation 💡 When I calculate Renmoney interest rate It doesn't correlate with the 17% but I don't know of fairmoney . As for trustbanc they are awesome and the rate calculation tallies I even followed them on Instagram. 😁

| Re: Mutual Funds by tempest12: 8:38pm On Feb 02 |
Did you deduct the 10percent WHT? Currently Renmoney is the only fintech paying upfront for 2years fixed deposit... Which is very good. I really like that as well .Others only pay upfront for a year tenure maximum The idea is to spread your liquidity so you can always used your ROI whenever you need money without touching any of your capital Creditalerts: |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Creditalerts: 8:47pm On Feb 02 |
tempest12:I didn't o but think MMF is still d best |
| Re: Mutual Funds by tempest12: 8:52pm On Feb 02 |
Lol depends on individual and the amount of fund involved. I do all. By putting huge funds in fixed deposit, collect the upfront and put in MMF while spending from there. Capital must be preserved that's the idea. Creditalerts: |

As long as it's a corporate email, it doesn't mean anything. They are public organization. I have my corporate email too and it's in the public view for correspondence, but my personal mail is not. Public organization knows how to handle spammers Iamblessed88: |

Well said, I want to invest about 100m with either Trustbanc or Norrenberger, please I want you to advise me on how to go about it.. We only know how to make money the old ways and not into fintech. We are friends now, so don't take it personal, as I am also learning from your write-ups. Creditalerts: |

Creditalerts:so na so life be? You don steal my trade mark (poverty is our common enemy) |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Beeron: 7:17am On Feb 03 |
brightk:while you are new seeking knowledge about MMF, I see you are being courted so to be registered with mentors referral code. My advice to you is, after registration to (supposedly Stanbic or Norrenberger), do not stick with that one MMF, split your money to different MMF paying higher yield. My advice is 60% of your fund in Stanbic and 40% sent to cowrywise app to invest in Trustbanc MMF. If Trustbanc stops being the highest in cowrywise, you can easily switch to the new highest paying mmf right in the cowrywise app. |
| Re: Mutual Funds by AncestralPowers: 7:24am On Feb 03 |
Lol... Poverty is our main enemy ohh, I personally fear poverty pass death. That's why I started working extremely hard at a very tender age, to gain financial independence on time.. Beeron: |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Beeron: 7:57am On Feb 03 |
AncestralPowers:Nice one Chief. Your story is real motivation. As long as one keeps investing in whatever grows their capital and still has time to do offline jobs. No poverty will ever reach that person. Unless two things happen which people usually pray against but as I am atheist, I just accept them and seek the odds and probabilities of it happening and try to mitigate risk. Now they are: 1- chronic sickness 2- Total financial collapse of the country. To mitigate one, Intermittent fasting. To mitigate Two, Cr ypt0 curency, swiss franc, precious metals like gold and other foreign currency more stable than the Dollar. So, if you see it from that perspective, you will realize, investing is just the beginning and there is a lot to do. That's why I usually encourage use to fight the common enemy. |
