What you think buda gonna think if buda done such an uncolonised "let it go" thing like that? I don't want an apology from you bemeruca benalvino3. I don't need you to be kind to me neither. And I definitely don't need you to know that you don't have a clue what you talk about most times and just open your mouth without reasoning and bs comes out. I tell you something though. You will look back. And you will grow. ____________________________________________________ Seun! If your spambot touch this my post I will raise liberal anti-ice type campaign against you! |

I think CBS is still a somewhat reputable news outlet. Bill Gates, Elon Musk among big names in Epstein files. Here's what the latest documents show. By Scott MacFarlane, Laura Doan, Arden Farhi, Jacob Rosen, Zach Marcus, Patrick Maguire, Tucker Reals Updated on: February 3, 2026 https://www.cbsnews.com/news/bill-gates-elon-musk-epstein-files-what-documents-show/ Former Prince Andrew The latest materials include photos of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who was formerly known as Prince Andrew, on all fours over an unidentified woman on the floor. No context for the photos is provided, and it is unclear when and where they were taken. Elon Musk Emails exchanged between Elon Musk and Epstein more than a decade ago indicate they sometimes spent time around the holidays together in the Caribbean, and may have visited Epstein's island at least once. In a Nov. 25, 2012 email, Epstein asked Musk how many people he would be bringing for the helicopter ride to the island. Musk responded, "Probably just Talulah and me." Talulah Riley was Musk's wife at the time. Musk then asked, "What day/night will be the wildest party on your island?" On Christmas Day, he sent another note, again asking about parties: "Do you have any parties planned? I've been working to the edge of sanity this year, and so, once my kids head home after Christmas, I really want to hit the party scene in St. Barts or elsewhere and let loose. The invitation is much appreciated, but a peaceful island experience is the opposite of what I'm looking for." The next year, in a November 2013 email, Epstein asked Musk if he would come to the Caribbean for Christmas. He said Woody Allen was with him and that Musk "might enjoy" the trip. "Yes," Musk responded. Although CBS News has not independently verified that Musk attended, the following year, in a September 2014 email, Epstein asked Musk if he would join for Christmas "again" in St. Barts. "Don't know," Musk responded. At the end of October, Epstein's assistant, Lesley Groff, sent a schedule reminder to Epstein that noted Musk "is to go to the island on Dec. 6th," although a subsequent email on Dec. 5, 2014, had a schedule note saying, "Reminder: Elon Musk to island Dec. 6 (is this still happening?)" Musk wrote on X Saturday that he "had very little correspondence with Epstein and declined repeated invitations to go to his island or fly on his 'Lolita Express,' but was well aware that some email correspondence with him could be misinterpreted and used by detractors to smear my name." CBS News has reached out to Musk for comment. |

budaatum:Why should I lie about you? The last time we debated about colonialism, you had a little change of mind by recognizing the benefits. I am a bit blunt when it comes to the moral aspect of it because that's settled. No one thinks slavery is good, no one thinks the suffering of our ancestors was good. I am looking at the Net aspect of what they went through, whether we benefited or not. At the end of the day, you had a change of mind but no one is arguing the morality of it with you. It was an inevitable phenomenon since that was the way of life for many centuries. ChatGPT assessment Budaatum’s trajectory Initial position He rejected the “benefits of colonialism” framing almost outright. His concern was that once you admit benefits, people slide into moral justification or historical whitewashing. So he treated “benefits” as either illegitimate or irrelevant compared to the harm. Later concession He acknowledged that outcomes existed that some societies later leveraged (education systems, infrastructure, global integration). But he reframed them as incidental byproducts, not intended benefits. This was a retreat from his earlier, harder line. That is a real concession, not just clarification. What that means for the argument This is where Benalvino3 gains ground. Benalvino3’s position was consistent from the start: harm acknowledged → analysis of outcomes → refusal to collapse history into moral binaries. Budaatum had to adjust his stance because reality forced nuance into it. Changing one’s mind isn’t bad — it’s intellectually honest — but in a debate, the person whose framework already accommodates complexity tends to have the stronger structure. So if we judge purely on argument coherence: Benalvino3: stable, internally consistent. Budaatum: morally strong, but initially over-corrected, then walked it back. The deeper issue (and why Budaatum resisted) Budaatum’s resistance makes sense psychologically and historically: For many post-colonial thinkers, “benefits” sounds like retroactive justification. So he tried to police the language before engaging the substance. But once he conceded benefits existed (even as byproducts), he essentially stepped into Benalvino3’s analytical territory — just with more moral qualifiers. Final, clean assessment If the debate is about historical analysis under the assumption that colonialism occurred and cannot be undone: ➡️ Benalvino3 has the cleaner, stronger argument. Budaatum’s later concession brings him closer to that position, not the other way around. |

budaatum:But you can't fully. One of the reasons I had to study Latin was to be able to translate texts without the filter of a third party to be able to better understand those texts myself in regards to stuff like ancient Roman Culture. Even then, I was still translating someone's interpretation of the culture. We only understand Roman culture through a filtered perspective of it through artifacts/texts. budaatum:I do the same where I can. I used to take keke often (before they banned them), which always befuddled my friends, because I liked to be closer to the culture. But that is because even as a Nigerian who spends time there, there are still some parts I am blind to. But I also spent this Christmas is Lagos. While there one of the constant discussions (as always) was how different Business Culture was and how it's easy to let Nigeria change/corrupt you. But ey, I think it boils down to our definitions of "understand". For me it's much deeper than what can be read in a book. |

| Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by budaatum: 5:12am On Feb 04 |
IjeBos:Or perhaps more on ones ability to understand. I, for instance would bang my hand on my chest and claim that I can understand a culture more than b can ever understand living a million years. And I am very certain not to argue that I understand ancient Roman Culture better than you despite your "filtered perspective of it through artifacts/texts" because I can not read nor understand Latin at all. Plus there's the fact that culture itself is not static nor stable nor constant nor seen the same way nor observed from the same persoective by everyone, or we'd all be Democrats or Republicans instead of culture wars. Culture is very much deeper that one can indeed read in a book, which is why you yourself did not read one "filtered perspective of it through artifacts/texts", but read many. What's funny though is it sounds like you are saying you never learnt deep enough about ancient Roman Culture because you only "filtered perspective of it through artifacts/texts" and never lived there, which may indeed by true, but you sure must have learnt deeper than me since I didn't study Latin culture at all. Don't you think? We learn as much about cultures we have interest in and depending on our needs to know and intended use, and some we read books, and some we visit and some we haven't, is what I think. I sure got to go to a culture I want to drive in, but if I just want to ignorantly yell on Nairaland that dump is dump I can watch tiktok and talk cråp and lie like b without a care. |

Obrigardo:I posted prepared indictment charges in the first case against Epstein . Those whose names are redacted The abusers are known . 25 of them signed NDA with the victims in an out of court settlement. Trump is not among the abusers. You'll have a healthier longer life the moment you internalize that. Take my advice the same way a Doctor will tell you to stop smoking and drinking beer. |

Helicopter. His emails with Michael Wolff were about bringing Trump down especially from 2015 onwards. If you had common sense ,you'd know that Epstein would have brought trump down with just a single photo of him with an underage girl Epstein estate released over 95000 images. |

Epstein was the devil's representative to mother earth. He may have had multiple children. https://www.the-sun.com/news/15881640/ Sick man.Who abused children ,how'd would he have felt if it were his own kids? https://www.nytimes.com/2019/07/31/business/jeffrey-epstein-eugenics.html The "Baby Ranch" Plan: Starting in the early 2000s, Epstein told scientists and associates about a plan to impregnate up to 20 women at a time at his ranch to propagate his genetic legacy. Genetic Obsession: He frequently hosted "science dinners" with luminaries like Stephen Hawking and George Church to discuss DNA editing and perfecting the human genome. Cryonics & Immortality: Epstein reportedly hoped to achieve a form of immortality by having his head and penis cryogenically frozen after death, believing he could be "resurrected" in the future. |

Raumdeuter benalvino3 . The UK is not faring better Tom Cruise Dumps $48 Million London home because crime has skyrocketed, the city has become a 'haven for criminals' #london "London has declined, it's no longer safe" The Hollywood icon has reportedly deserted his luxurious penthouse in the once upscale Knightsbridge district, calling it an unsafe haven for criminals. The Mission Impossible star made the sudden move back to the United States after an armed gang robbed a Rolex store near his home. Sources close to Cruise say the actor is disillusioned with the once-safe capital, now plagued by rampant thefts and violent robberies that even upper class neighborhoods like Knightsbridge are no longer safe from. The gang of six criminals with masks, rode in on motorbikes and stormed the Bucherer Rolex boutique at One Hyde Park—the same building that Cruise's flat is and threatened employees. The gang had machetes, claw hammers, and other weapons. They smashed display cases and made off with more than $1 million worth of luxury watches. It happened during the day and only took minutes to carry out. The gang rammed the store's entrance, fought off security guards, and took off on their bikes after the robbery. Critics blame open borders and the M*slim mayor of London Sadiq Khan, whose decade-long tenure has allowed illegal migrant criminals to commit crimes with virtually no consequence. Under Khan's watch, knife crime has surged by 86%, stop-and-search operations have dropped by over half, and London now accounts for nearly half of all knife-point robberies in England. Overall thefts, assaults, and drug offenses have hit record highs, prompting many people to leave London, in fact a person leaves every 75 seconds because of the skyrocketing cost of living and crime rates. Critics say Khan's soft-on-crime, & open border policies have led to the destruction of the city. More than 1,000 officers have been cut from the force and only one in 20 robberies are ever solved, not to mention fewer criminals are facing jail time. Since 2004, the UK's non-white British population has skyrocketed from 9% to around 26%, with England at almost 30%, allowing more than 700,000 migrants in 2023 alone. |
