The Deputy President of the Senate, Barau Jibrin, has said any state that provides more votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 election will benefit more reasonable projects.

Senator Barau stated this in Katsina Monday at the endorsement ceremony of President Tinubu and Governor DIkko Umar Radda.

He said: “I want to assure you that any state that re- elected President Tinubu with highest votes would be given more projects in the next administration.”

He said President Tinubu is providing meaningful developments across the country despite the poor economic structures and challenges inherited from the past administration.

He added that there is the need to re- elect Mr. President because of his exemplary leadership in all sectors of development.

“I am working closely with Mr President and I see his physical performance within the period of 3 years,” he said.

Senator Barau charged Nigerians to avoid any form of political gambling and stick to APC at all levels, saying the APC is leading with 29 governors which is a clear indication of success in the coming elections.

Am not tinubu supporter but it his better he continues rather that starting afresh with obi or Atiku at least tinubu is heading to somewhere and continuity and constiency is the key . The devil u know is better than the angel u don't know wisdom dey say is profitable to direct.

When Peter Obi was governor who are those he enriched?

All previous president from Obasanjo Yardua Ebele n Buhari who did not enrich establish politicians n why should this one be different.

Honestly, this is a brilliant idea and long overdue.
Why should government waste projects on people that didn’t vote? That’s like serving food to someone who didn’t attend the wedding.
Nigeria has finally perfected democracy: vote first, chop later.
If your state voted well, congratulations enjoy roads, bridges, and maybe small electricity.
If you didn’t… please manage your potholes with patience and understanding.
This will even encourage civic participation. Nobody wants to be the state that voted 12 people and is now begging for a borehole.
Suddenly, everyone will remember their PVC. Patriotism activated. 🇳🇬💪
I personally support this reward system.
Loyalty must pay. Infrastructure is not charity.

Even though what he said is a complete stupid statement, the SE needs to learn politics. Emotions don't win in politics. The SE needs to learn the act of negotiation. Forget the fight for Biafra, whether u feel like Nigerians or not, the reality is that what happens in Nigeria affects you, if you learn to negotiate and keep emotions aside, it will be more of benefit to you than the current emotional state of most SEners
