Is this how they behave in Ghana? But also y has d tenant refuse to pay his rent I'm sure the man ran out of options....but i bet now he will regret....case of two wrongs makes d police rich abi how dem day talk am Oga did you even read this post at all, who told you he failed to pay? The landlord gave him quit notice and he pleaded till the 14th of this month to leave for a new apartment which he already paid for with evidence. All i know is that the justice should be fast to serve as deterrent to other wicked landlord out there. |

rowland545:He can not run out of options. Taking laws into ones hand is not the best option. It is very risky for him to do that Now he is in trouble with the tenant He should have gone to court simple. |

| Re: Police Arrest Ghanaian Landlord For Removing Tenant's Roof In Port Harcourt by okoloto: 9:03am On Feb 05 |
No smoke without fire. Some tenants can be wacko but the landlord is not smart. At the end the tenant has been expressly removed. The landlord can pay for verifiable damage. The truth is that the tenant is out. He can't be staying in an open roof ![]() We should understand in this country that landlords build rental apartment as business and not free lunch. The landlord also needs to survive. Roof over head is the second most important human need. |
| Re: Police Arrest Ghanaian Landlord For Removing Tenant's Roof In Port Harcourt by Jayhome24: 9:03am On Feb 05 |
He should be made to go and putt that roof back, pay a fine and order to give minimum of a year to the tenant to relocate. In Ghna of today no Nigeria landlord in Accra or Kumasi will dare such to a Ghanian infact I was shocked few days ago to watched on social media how a Ghanian man arranged for thugs to beat a Nigeria man to pulp over the Nigeria man own land he bought with all document valid and legal till now Ghanian authority didn't do anything about it. Enough of all these rubbish. If to be a brothers keepers is a sin then let everybody face his or her own warrant abeg... |

Wrong seems you didn't read through, the tenant has already secured a new apartment somewhere else and was waiting for the 14th of February to move out only for the landlord to give a suprise attack by removing the roofs. The landlord doesn't want to live in the house again that's why he claimed to do an urgent renovation let him pay for his s!lly actions vicfajeze: |
