Everything is expensive , No food , high cost of fuel, poor security, expensive commodity in the market, that was what the government did, By removing subsidy and increasing tax the masses are paying for virtually everything right now Shame on APC. Safe to say the populace in Nigeria are the ones improving the economic condition of the country. |

AMINDA:You are always dishing out wrong information on this forum. What do you stand to gain with all these lies? I have told you many times to criticize sensibly with facts. Stop giving us lamba; we are not illiterates. For those who might have believed his lamba, both India and Russia are the most populous countries in Asia and Europe, yet they are not the largest economies. |

Kemetian:I commend Tinubu though, but you should also check Nigeria economy record during the Goodluck Jonathan's regime then you will not have any reason for this your tribalistic comment |

Where was Nigeria before APC came into power? Under PDP Nigeria was number one in Africa with a GDP of over $ 550 billion plus and counting, but APC took us back, only for us to grow like dis, and they say the country is growing, growing where? . No growth yet until APC take us to number one with a GDP of over $ 550 billion then we"ll know that they have done something. For now, all na wash. |

So, it was said that we have the best military, foot soldiers, in Africa. We were the largest economy in Africa. How does that translate to the common man if he doesn't see the effect of these milestones we celebrate? |

Love800:Oga if you are poor, so many others are not. Nor be Nigeria make you poor, Na your laziness and village people cause am. Go and work or learn productive skills and you will be okay. Nigerians are already learning AI and also venturing into content creation and they are cashing out in dollars. Either legally or illegally, the way Nigerian youths are living large, driving exotic cars and building houses and businesses, you will hardly see such in other African countries, e.g Ghana |

Of course, any rationale human being will know that economic pressure is coming down gradually and things have started coming down. What most irrational people believed is that everything should just start looking good with the new administration. There are economic indices that will indicate growth prospects. Nobody says you should not play opposition role as demanded in democracy. But be realistic and objective about it. Governance is not like selling motor parts or cloth in a 4 conner shop. You have to plan, Implement and allow it to germinate. Nigeria will be great again. |

Abeg! There's nothing to celebrate here, but idiots would start dancing that Train has done wonders by his policies. The idiots would forget that under Buhari, Nigeria was the top largest economy in Africa, but plunged to 4th position under Tinubu. Such a shame that Algeria located in the vast, unforgiving Sahara desert surpassed the so called " Giant of Africa in economic status. |

The IMFs role in the scheme of things in Africa is not far from neo colonialism. I do not have confidence in the IMF after reading the book titled Lord's of poverty by Graham Hancook. They dictate to us everything and we just follow them sheepishly. Africa needs to be liberated from this puppeteers. |

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is just a lending institution. It is not an expert on Nigeria's economic affairs. By the way, why is IMF or World Bank matter coming up on the front page almost every day? ![]() Is there any sponsorship from the IMF here? |

Flangelo12:Imagine the economy improving in an election year Which campaign point will they have again? After four years dollar didn't reach the 2000 naira mark they were salivating for. The economy is on the rebound without sacrificing solid fundamentals. If not for this government's high tolerance of religious violence and corruption, and the refinery scams, I would have given it a solid B+. |
