Hi everyone,

I'm new on this thread and I really appreciate everyone's contribution. I never knew such investment rate excite, thought fix deposit is the best.

I went through this thread and find it very interesting. I need not to break it down for me please.

I need advise on the best platform to invest 10m, how much interest can I get if I'm investing for 1 year.

How does mutual funds work etc.

Thank you
One thing for sure, you will soon get poached by referral code hunters to help you invest via their direct link which is legit but let me give you some tips first.

Mutual funds is like you saving your money and earning interest daily both on weekends and holidays. It's safe and whichever Asset management firm that get pitched to you here is legit.

Secondly, mutual funds enable compounding meaning, your 10Million will compound a whole lot but then again, that's you really preserving and growing wealth while you sleep with both eyes close.

Now this is me suggesting not invest all 10 million into mutual funds, maybe 7 Million and invest 3 million into fixed income fund especially that of CardinalStone fixed income fund alpha.

You will be glad you did after MMF rates dips later in the year.

However, if you decide you want to go all in into mutual funds with the 10 million, split it in 2 and invest 5M in Cowrywise Trustbanc mutual funds and the other 5M into Stanbic

Why?

Stanbic compound monthly but MMF via cowrywise enable moving fund around within the app to buy the MMF with the highest rate in the event that rate change by different MMF providers on the cowrywise app.

Trust me, I can bet you, if you let yourself to be talked into investing all your money into one asset management, you will come back here later to ask question like: "Guys, how can I sign up with Cowrywise?"

I also have YouTube channel that can further open your eyes to other types of safe investment, Disregard stocks in the channel, you still a newbie.

I'm trying to withdraw from cowrywise and this is what I'm seeing. No code was sent. How do I go about this?
They don't need send any code since you activated authenticator code.

Just copy the code from your authenticator code and paste it there.

I think trustbanc should make Creditalerts their ambassador cheesy
I won't mind but funny enough they don't have referral option on their app 😄 but since everyone here is winning I'm fine 😉🤑

They do. Its accessible if you log in via their website but its mostly limited to fee waivers which is like N250 per transaction. Thats like one referral for N250

Just be careful which asset manager you go with. The ones marketed here are all safe but some with high rates may give you headache. You may fund your account and not see it for days, then when you complain, you will be gas lighted and you will hear. “Be patient, other investors that funded same time have received value” Or they will say it’s end of month causing the interest backlog 😁

You really took your time to explain to me, I appreciate bro
But it's seems people are complaining about cowrywise, their money not reflecting after funding.....

Do you have a break down of how their interest works on your YouTube channel.

I'm gonna check it out, thank you

I suggest you copy the complaint and post here to understand what the complaint was all about. Cowrywise funding is quick and seamless. I have never had any issues that necessitates me to reach out to their customer support but their customer support is very responsive and they are very active on X(Twitter) as well in case you have any complaint.

Secondly, Cowrywise has their own MMF with their own rate.

Now think of cowrywise as a store that help sell other assets managers MMF to the public.

They have Afrivest MMF, united capital MMF, Trustbanc MMF etc.

All you need do is just pick anyone you wish to invest in (Trustbanc is preferable for now) and click the buy button to buy the unit of MMF you wish to buy.

This is too basic to make a video about. Just install the app and play around with it and come back to read everything I have written here. You will quickly understand how it works.

It's just as easy to navigate as putting mouth on the bress but somehow, you will eventually find the niiipple.

I have seen these complaints you have just posted.

But c'mon, things like this happen and which Is fixable provided a customer representative attended to your ticket, even commercial banks gets compliants on their X page.

Most people who uses Cowrywise here on Nairaland don't usually have complaints however that doesn't mean issues don't happen, the key thing to look out for is how quickly and responsive the customer support attend to your ticket.

So if you plagued with fear. Just stay off cowrywise and ask around for any other asset management firm that no one ever encounter any issue on.

I'm not, bro; we all know that it is risky, but if someone wants to try something new, they should. The CSOF does 100 YTD. We are all learning. MMF will always be the best, but there are other options out there.
Had to go back nothing less than 20 pages to see equity fund discussion. Which product is CSOF? I know it's Cardinal Stone but only know of their mmf and Equity. Never used them though. I was originally conservative but with the dropping mmf rates and understanding how mmf doesn't even beat inflation, my risk appetite grew. I still use mmf as my emergency fund but I branched out with coral balanced fund and now do Balanced fund and about 2 different Equity fund too. They did really well last year and so far, so good. Q1 is shaping up nicely. Which product is CSOF pls?
Re: Mutual Funds by Nobody: 2:18am On Feb 07
CSOF is for wealthy investors, operated by CardinalStone. The minimum capital is 100m. Check the screenshot below to see its current YTD.

To be candid, in recent time, GT MMF is one of the fund managers that has got good rate outside Trustbanc Money MF. It has been within 17-17.96% this week and currently on 17.69%.

Hopefully, moving forward, we should be seeing more rising rates on other fund managers.

Do one need to contact them to see this option? I can’t find it on my dashboard
Re: Mutual Funds by Nobody: 3:06am On Feb 07
Yes, you have to contact them privately. One of the folks here went to their office to make an inquiry on CSOF; kindly find our thread and contact him.

Well good point lol. Come 23rd after the MPR is slashed at the MPC, we will have uniform low rates across the board.

Don't worry, it will start reflecting next week Monday. You may begin to notice such added interest next week Monday... weekends are off but you will still get ur accrued interest for Saturday and Sunday with Monday's own on Monday. That of friday may not be guaranteed, except you invested in early mid night on friday.
