My brother
Some players are good but grossly underrated
I guess that Southampton move contributed
But under our previous coaches, he just wasn't it
Given our current system under Chelle, I don't think Onuachu will go 3-4 games without scoring, if he starts
We create chances like water now
We have a good core of young forwards like Uchenna (Augsburg), Durosinmi (Pisa fc), Otele (Hamburg), Prosper Obah (Shaktar), Akor Adams etc all in their best prime...all these players will not only score goals under a Chelle team but also provide more...there has to be a time when we end this Onuachu experiment cause it just isn't working for the national team, his level is Turkey and that's fine- he has earned himself a very decent career in Turkiye. Strikers aren't our problem, so players like Onuachu, Simon Moses etc are at best surplus to requirement.

20 y/o winger, Onyebuchi Obasi scored the 2nd in Stabæk's 3-1 win over Arierhi's Lillestrom SK in a Club Friendly yesterday.
Onyebuchi Obasi is a Valerenga player so this means he is on loan to Stabæk.

Like Lillestrom, Valerenga is in the 2026 Eliteserien season which kicks off March 15.
Stabæk will compete on the Obos-Ligaen which kicks off in April.
So loads of friendlies are still line up for both sides.

Tochukwu Ogboji (CB), #21 and #16 Uba Charles (RB/RM) both started for Lillestrom with #9 Arierhi Kparobo, CF coming off the bench.

Arierhi - 18y/o
Ogboji - 19 y/o
Uba Charles - 23 y/o

Lillestrom has another friendly today vs KFUM.

Frame 1: Onyebuchi Obasi scoring for Stabæk vs Lillestrom.

Frame 2: Tochukwu Joseph Ogboji on match poster for yesterday's friendly

Frame 3: Arierhi Kparobo

It’s better sef than sacking him! Honestly if not that we are already good with Chelle I won’t mind him for the eagles. Dude is a very dynamic coach with all sorts of playing styles with haram, free flowing and all.

22 y/o CF, Victory Beniangba scored twice yesterday in Genk U23's 4-4 comeback draw away at 5th placed Patro Eisden in the Belgian Challenger Pro.

He now has 6 goals, 2 assists in 16 games (15 starts).

He is doing well in Belgium's 2nd tier alongside another Nigerian youngster in same Challenger Pro, 20 y/o Abubakar Abdullahi who has 8 goals, 1 assist in 18 games (17 starts).

At 22, this should be his last in the Challenger Pro. He should be targeting a decent step up in the summer.

Naija excellence in Belgium's 2nd tier...

Abubakar Abdullahi is the top Scoring U20 player in Belgium's Challenger Pro with 8 goals.

The overall top scorer is a 36 y/o CF for Lommel (6th on the table) with 13 goals.

Also, Vince Osuji, CB is the top accurate passer per 90 in the entire Challenger Pro for 2025/26 season so far. Had already made his senior league debut on Jan 24 and has constantly made the senior matchday squad.

TheSuperNerd:
20 y/o 🇳🇬 FW prospect Abubakar Abdullahi bagged a brace for Gent U23 in their 2-4 loss vs League leaders, SK Beveren in the Belgian Challenger Pro.

He just clocked 20 on January 27th.

The talented lad is now on 8goals, 1 assist in 17 games (16 starts).

Recall that he belongs to the 2023 Naija U17 Class that had Emmanuel Michael, Ebube Okere, Yahaya Lawali, Ozor Okeke, Basil Mbata etc...

He seems to have the answer to whatever any opponent brings. He was just unlucky in the final as his players were obviously tired after a gruelling semifinal match with the eagles. The same fate with the eagles in 2023. He’s a coach that will do well anywhere with his huge World Cup experience and on the African continent.

Very impressed with this lad and I do remember he was one of the bright spots from that Nduka Ugbade U17 set, he could turn out to be another Benjamin Frederick type of discovery for us soon.

Man Utd's Michael Carrick on his way to making it 4 wins in a row. Something Ruben Amorim never did.

Ruben is a fine tactician and coach but his problem was how stubbornly set in his ways, he was. He was not willing to adapt tactically to change things for the better. Unlike Carrick, Amorim chose to keep repeating a system that just was not working.

The lesson: One may be a good coach/tactician but if you are not adaptable enough to adjust tactics to the strengths of your team profile, then you limit your growth as a coach.

They needed to sell then so they could register new players. He will most likely return back to Getafe because Crystal Palace will likely not activate the buy option in the loan deal.

Which one is sport washing, give the guy his due and flowers Abeg,

He knew what he was protesting against, Benz protest about that same imagine right and refuse to play for his former club, before he was transfer to the next club, which was/in a battle for top spot with CR7 Club,

1point keeps al hilal on top before the coming of benzema, now the crux of the matter is, it's same company that bankroll transfer of all top 4 clubs, Nasri had been at the receiving ends of funds not being available, while that of the other 3 had funds readily available, and that's why benzema move from his former club to table toppers, then he went and scored an hat-trick to take his team tally to 50 goals, and against Nasri 49, with same goals cancelled, just a point separating them,

Or you do ask Pogba why he leavehuh
