Will you take serious a male evangelist if you see him sagging his trouser to preach? If a so-called born again christian goes to bleach his or her skin, or goes for BBL, will you take them serious? Now if you say: "show me in the Bible where doing dreadlocks for guys is a sin". What if I tell you to show me in the bible where sagging trouser & wearing big chain, smoking weed and bleaching are clearly called sin? you may never find it: but are they good for a born again Christian? Never. If you are truly a born again Christian, you must walk in the Spirit. You cannot be worldly or fleshly: and if you truly have the Spirit of God working in you, He can never tell you or permit you to do tattoo, dreads etc. It is only the fleshly and worldly nature that can make someone desire to appear like the world. A true born again Christian must align with Jesus Christ always, and will never put up an appearance that will hinder the gospel or create doubts in the mind of those who will receive the gospel from them. Note: God will never adjust His standards to fit into the world or trends. And If you say things have changed, God's holiness and judgement in eternity has not changed.

The arguement about a Christian drawing tattoo is like the argument about consumption of hard drugs. Some consumers of hard drugs can resist indulging in crimes. But over 98% of those who consume hard drugs are into one crime or the other, and had drugs are harmful to the body. Should you now encourage people to consume hard drugs because consumption of hard drugs cannot be proven to be a sin? Over 98% of people who get tattoos are into one vulgar lifestyle or the other and the tattoo is harmful to the skin. Therefore, why are we arguing about whether it is right or wrong for a Christian to get tattoos? Taking shisha is not a sin. But shisha is harmful to the body and over 98% of those who take shisha are into vulgar lifestyles. BBL is not a sin. But over 98%, if not 100%, of the ladies that do BBL do it for seduction and BBL is harmful to the body. Will you encourage Christians to do BBL because BBL is not a sin in the Bible? Have you asked yourself why many people who got tattoos before becoming Christians try to remove the tattoos after becoming Christians? The answer is simply because those people are no longer proud of both the inspiration and the meaning of the tattoos on their skins. What most of the ladies that do BBL are known for proves what inspires BBL and what BBL can lead to. What most consumers of hard drugs are known for proves what inspires consumption of hard drugs and what the consumption can cause in most cases. What most of the people that get tattoos are known for tells what inspires tattoos and what a tattooed skin can attract in most cases. This is reality, not profiling. So, why are we arguing about whether it is right or wrong for a Christian to get tattoos? Do not just look at tattoos on human skin, look at the foundation of tattoos. What is the spiritual or health benefit of tattoo? If there is none, Christians should not get tattoos. Getting tattoos before becoming a Christian is different. Tattoo is not a sin. But it is unsuitable for Christianity. Those who support Pastor Kingsley just because tattoo is not a sin should try to prove that tattoo is godly. As it cannot be proven to be a sin, it equally cannot be proven to be godly. Therefore, what is the essence of you getting tattoos after becoming a Christian? It is not just about a Christian getting tattoos. Christians are expected to live an examplary life. A Christian can get tattoos and still be able to control himself without indulging in the sinful things that most of the people that get tattoos are known for. But a Christian getting tattoos can cause those looking up to the Christian to deviate because by the time those people get tattoos,.those people will not be able to control themselves over the sinful things that an average person with tattoos indulge in. |

paxonel:God does not move an inch if the world is changing into worldliness, fleshly lifestyle or corruption. God's standard of holiness remains forever. |

helinues:Romans 2:21-23 "Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?". helinues:Pastor Kingsley's tattoo matter already proves it. Philippians 4:8 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. So, by Philippians 4, the outright condemnation of this things proves that they are not things that are seen ss pure, virtuous or of good report. |

It's clear these are frowned at both in the Islamic and in the old testament laws. But Christians running away from old testament laws have no law to rely on to forbid all these! Same as gambling in Christianity! |

Sniffing cocaine is not forbidden in the Bible, neither is slapping army officer, sleeping with relatives, crossing roads blindfolded.. None of these was expressly forbidden by the Bible. But does that mean it's the right thing to do? Conscience and common sense suppose guide you, na |

I would understand if they had it before they became born again, but not after been born again. For after ur born again, the desire of this world should not worry you again, ur set apart from the rest, a light and an example to those you mentor or teach. That's the idea of what born again is, it means ur now different, a living example ( good ) and not act in a way people will keep saying negative about U. |
