It's clear these are forbidden in Islamic and in the old testament laws. But Christians running away from old testament laws have no law to rely on to forbid all these!
What about tribal marks

We all know that Shari'a laws are man made all to control fellow humans.

Fellow humans creating laws that are not natural.
Yet, humans will be subjected to the laws thinking it is God that created them?

No now
You call it man+made but it's better than your holy spirit inspired laws!

Tattoes, dreadlocks, Gambling, etc can't be controlled by Christianity!

Will you take serious a male evangelist if you see him sagging his trouser to preach? If a so-called born again christian goes to bleach his or her skin, or goes for BBL, will you take them serious?

Now if you say: "show me in the Bible where doing dreadlocks for guys is a sin". What if I tell you to show me in the bible where sagging trouser & wearing big chain, smoking weed and bleaching are clearly called sin? you may never find it: but are they good for a born again Christian? Never.

If you are truly a born again Christian, you must walk in the Spirit. You cannot be worldly or fleshly: and if you truly have the Spirit of God working in you, He can never tell you or permit you to do tattoo, dreads etc. It is only the fleshly and worldly nature that can make someone desire to appear like the world.

A true born again Christian must align with Jesus Christ always, and will never put up an appearance that will hinder the gospel or create doubts in the mind of those who will receive the gospel from them.

Note: God will never adjust His standards to fit into the world or trends. And If you say things have changed, God's holiness and judgement in eternity has not changed.
The issue here is ignorance on your part,,
you have not been able to differentiate between religion and culture/traditions,
A clear example,, based on the region your Jesus was born, men keep long hair,, I guarantee you, with this your mentality, if a guy with long hair comes to preach to you, u will tag him a sinner.
Do better bro

Thought Jesus died for the sins of born again, every thing they do shouldn’t be counted as sins….

Sin should not exist again

God forbids tattoo but I don't know of dreadlocks.

You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh, for the dead, neither shall you make in yourselves any figures or marks: I am the Lord.

A very few people always control the entire living humans. They can use anything and everything. Each generation has got something that is regarded as a tabboo, but then, the next generation gets over it and sees that are thing as absolutely nothing. Hmmm. Meaning that it was absolutely nothing, but used to control the previous generation.

Only when you can see is when you get this issue. I don't argue with zombies..lol. A zombie is not worth having a conversation with, and this is why I don't get involved in debates like this.

Good morning.

How does having tattoos, dreadlocks affects the preaching

Where in the bible was it written that you must not have a tattoo or dreadlocks
A simple Google search will help you for tattoos.
It's there gbagada in the Bible.

Above all, Paul advised us not to do certain things for the simple reason that it destroys other people faith and distracts from the message.

Pastor has wanted tattoos fora longtime, could no longer resist and finally did it.

If he did not put it on, there won't have been any noise. Putting it on now does not bring any identifiable benefit to anyone but distraction

Tattoos and dreadlocks are for identity protection. To create a distinct form of identity against identity thieves, impersonations , shapeshifters and body doubles and dobblebanggers. Paying for and possessing a double version of someone that looks like the original and relying on it for intelligence, insight, advice is a serious crime.

Pastor Okonkwo is and will never be a pastor. He's just a motivational speaker. I think the problem is the title pastor as been so dragged in the mud that every dick n Harry now uses it.
Mr okonkwo is and will never be a pastor so also many supposed men of God. I think the leadership the Christian body needs to checkmate the title.

I asked for where tattoos and dreadlocks was mentioned in the bible specifically

Your verse above did not include that
Fallacy of asking for unrealistic specificity especially as it is well known that the Bible aims to condemn every wrong man can do whether specifically stated or not. Hence it contains omnibus and general provisions covering every issue of wrong that man can do. Which is why the bible does not need updating and amendment

You guys don't really understand this game at all.

Stop reffering to this as pastors we know the game, we understand the rules they must follow, we understand the homage they have to pay, we understand where they belong so standing in the alta talking and being titled pastor does not make you a born again.

Can you called Ex-Rev Pastor King the murderer a born again pastor becase he stood preaching and claimed to be born again till he committed serious crime and was given a death sentence? Just to mention few.

This guy that wear dreadlocks is doing family business not God business, the Tatoo efulefu claimed pastor is paying occultic homeage... full stop. Thanks...

God does not move an inch if the world is changing into worldliness, fleshly lifestyle or corruption. God's standard of holiness remains forever.

Because imagine the number of people this lifestyle choice of his will influence, because he’s an established “Man of God”. 😢😥😩

Tattoo or no tattoo, it means absolutely nothing.
Circumcision or no circumcision, it means absolutely nothing
Dreadluck, hair plaiting, ear piercing, etc

You know what my grand ma told me one day?
She said there was a time in this Nigeria were any woman seen putting on trousers, she will be tagged ashawo.

You can't fight certain change and succeed
The world may change but God doesn't change his principles or precepts. He is immutable. The change you see in the world only reflects the moral decadence that has eaten gradually into it, not that God has changed to accommodate such changes. Such decadence will continue until the rapture.

Are you a Christian? If you are not one, then I can excuse the above. If you are then the above is wrong. Disobeying GOD's will and commandments is sin.
