If only more people grasp the true concept of being born again...or better still....the awakened; what you've been fed...vs life beyond this illusion..The Truth!

"People don't need to be saved or rescued. People need knowledge of their own power and how to access it. "

Errrm...... Jesus was born in the middle east, Jesus was a decendant of Aramaic Abraham, Jesus was a decendant of David.

Jesus was a Jew with the skin of Jews. All this trying to make Jesus black is weird. Only race want a black Jesus ists. Next thing we know they will say Jesus was a Woman.......
What is the skin colour of "Jews"? I hope you're not thinking Jews are the Europeans that occupy Palestine and declare themselves Israelis and Jews. Does this description match what you have in mind?

God does not move an inch if the world is changing into worldliness, fleshly lifestyle or corruption. God's standard of holiness remains forever.
O he has moved a lot I tell you 🤗

Do you know by old testament standard, eating frozen food is a sin? You are commanded not to eat any animal you didn't see how they were killed? You are expected not to eat pig etc? How about that?

It was unnecessary for the pastors to get a tattoo but let's not.make it look worse than it is

What is the spiritual or health benefit of tattoo?

If there is none, Christians should not get tattoos. Getting tattoos before becoming a Christian is different.
Everything to Christians is Benefits, usefulness, importance, merits , advantages and the likes...

If there was no benefit of heaven (in their conjectured mind), they will never be Christians in the first place........
They be saying they are Christians cos they love Christ, Abbi cause they wanna go to hell that exists only in their brains....

Perverts they all are.
The religion of God cannot contradi t the commandment and conduct of the same God.
It is penticostal Christianity based on false and diluted doctrines. It is not true Christianity. Some so called chur ches are literally night clubs and parties held on sunday where sinful people can still claim to be serving God withput the need for true repentance and righteous living.
It has been rightly prophesied in the bible and it is no surprise to any right thinking Christian.
It is the devil camouflage to denigrate the church of God.
cutecommend:
Will you take serious a male evangelist if you see him sagging his trouser to preach? If a so-called born again christian goes to bleach his or her skin, or goes for BBL, will you take them serious?

Now if you say: "show me in the Bible where doing dreadlocks for guys is a sin". What if I tell you to show me in the bible where sagging trouser & wearing big chain, smoking weed and bleaching are clearly called sin? you may never find it: but are they good for a born again Christian? Never.

If you are truly a born again Christian, you must walk in the Spirit. You cannot be worldly or fleshly: and if you truly have the Spirit of God working in you, He can never tell you or permit you to do tattoo, dreads etc. It is only the fleshly and worldly nature that can make someone desire to appear like the world.

A true born again Christian must align with Jesus Christ always, and will never put up an appearance that will hinder the gospel or create doubts in the mind of those who will receive the gospel from them.

Note: God will never adjust His standards to fit into the world or trends. And If you say things have changed, God's holiness and judgement in eternity has not changed.

Tribal mark shows your origin or tribe. Can your tattoo show your tribe or origin?

You are just trying to be clever by asking contemptuous and ridiculous questions. Anyway, when your earthly journey ends, you will be judged even for the rubbish you are supporting here. For now, enjoy your fleshly ride. sad

Same with tattoos. People tattoo their names, roots, tribe etc on their body.

How does having tattoos, dreadlocks affects the preaching

Where in the bible was it written that you must not have a tattoo or dreadlocks
There is a place in the old testament where God told the israelites not to put marks on their bodies. I will get it for you

Tattoo or no tattoo, it means absolutely nothing.
Circumcision or no circumcision, it means absolutely nothing
Dreadluck, hair plaiting, ear piercing, etc

You know what my grand ma told me one day?
She said there was a time in this Nigeria were any woman seen putting on trousers, she will be tagged ashawo.

You can't fight certain change and succeed
if where you come from as a man, only girl children have their ears pierced, why should you pierce your ear as a man when you have grown up? Rocking tattoo in the days of your ignorance is allowed but when the gospel light has shone on you, why should you have your body tattooed? Did you know that a tattooed man cannot donate blood? Now you know. Your grandma is not completely right because she was not born in 19th century when the whites entered Nigeria and brought their western culture which includes rocking of trousers by females. If your grandma grew up in Lagos, she wouldn't make such statements. Ladies born in big cities after the whites settled in Nigeria found rocking trousers a normal thing. What we should now be talking about is the decency of the trousers; are they suggestive and provocative or are they decent? Even the gowns and skirts women are perceived in the typical African setting to wear can be very short and make a lady look so sex appealing. In your granny's time, they actually rocked the hottest of miniskirts that left little or nothing to be described from their voluptuous thighs. Forget bro. What matters as a Christian is to have God's Spirit resident in you and directing you on how to live, now this is golden!

Shalom bro.

It should nolonger be considered as a sin because he died for the remission of Christians sin.

There shouldn't be anything like sin after the death of Jesus if we go by the pagan sorry Christians logic
I see. I understand that it would be foolish to continue this dialogue but I will leave one last point. Jesus didn't come to abolish sin. Jesus came to provide a way to GOD if one truly wishes to repent and stop sinning. Sin still exists. After the final coming of Christ, it will no longer exist.

Where did it mention Tatoo? When did you become the decider of what is pure?
That is the meaning of "whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise" and as you can see people have judged it not pure or of good report.

So, when God gave those instructions to Moses, God was simply bluffing or joking and He never knew that He could look to men with pure hearts?

Lol

It is said that it is better to burn down a city than allow an evil customs to persists.

Call out evil even if it is against you.

Perhaps you have a tattoo on you, if it was done in ignorance, God forgives but willfully and knowingly going against a clear command from God by teaching men to go against such command or justifying their rebellion against such commands makes you a REPROBATE.

Desist.
Only God is the ultimate judge he doesn't need any human assistant God is just too big to be boxed in one place or completely understood by mortal humans so don't ever feel you have come to fully know or understand everything about him from whatever you have read from the bible. God is too mysterious and he is even far bigger than what has been written of him in the bible with what i have come to understand over the years only a small mind will limit him to what's written in the bible.

Just read the book of Leviticus 19:28
This may change the narrative.

Tattoo is not a sin. But it is unsuitable for Christianity. Those who support Pastor Kingsley just because tattoo is not a sin should try to prove that tattoo is godly.

As it cannot be proven to be a sin, it equally cannot be proven to be godly. Therefore, what is the essence of you getting tattoos after becoming a Christian?

It is not just about a Christian getting tattoos. Christians are expected to live an examplary life. A Christian can get tattoos and still be able to control himself without indulging in the sinful things that most of the people that get tattoos are known for. But a Christian getting tattoos can cause those looking up to the Christian to deviate because by the time those people get tattoos,.those people will not be able to control themselves over the sinful things that an average person with tattoos indulge in.

Some Guiding Principles:
1. Will Jesus do it?
2. Will it bring glory, honour and praise to God?
3. Will it make another Christian, especially a young convert, weak in faith.
4. Even if you are free to do what you like what will others think of it and you, the gispel and the Christ?
5. Is it acceptable and promoted by the world?
6. Are we being distracted from serious issues such as evangelism?
7. Should this be our preoccupation in these end times when Jesus's coming is getting nearer and nearer?

The Principles can be applied to smoking, alcohol consumption, etc

Social changes may take place just like your grandma told you but the God who created us all does not change his rule of engagement with humanity.
Gods standard does not change. The changes you see is a case of " man creating God in his own image '
I can bet on any thing that those people deviate from the CHRISTIAN NORM are NOT born again
There's another religion that mimics Christianity
It is called marmon worship, their God is money
And most churches fall into this category

Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. And after the mouth hath spoken the person acts. So in the end everything in the heart always shows like a tattoo. So rest, you do not have any reasonable thing to say

But note there are many babe Christians and carnal Christians

Hopefully they move up to the level of the spirit so that they will not fall bellow their own deeds

Well written.....

In summary...

All things are legitimate [permissible—and we are free to do anything we please], but not all things are helpful (expedient, profitable, and wholesome). All things are legitimate, but not all things are constructive [to character] and edifying [to spiritual life].1 Corinthians 10:23
