Godswill Akpabio is the most useless and spineless Senate President Nigeria has ever had. I don't know what Tinubu is using to squeeze him and hold him by the balls to make him turn Zombie, but whatever it is must be strong. If Tinubu sends a bill to National Assembly today that Nigeria should be sold, honestly Akpabio will rubber stamp it. The man unbelievably and comically daft. He is not just rubber stamping all manner of things Tinubu sends to him, he is also stupidly defending them and making Nigerians wonder if he actually have something upstairs. The man is a total disgrace to his people. Bukola Saraki was the last Senate President with balls Nigeria had. God forbid having him as Senate President again. |

Amumaigwe:Wake up? Wake up to know that there are still some rural areas in the north and south where there are no network/internet connections? That those people will be disenfranchised as their votes will not count since it didn't meet up with the criterion that "election results MUST be posted from POLLING UNITS in real time?" Please tell me again, "What should I wake up from?" No Be Juju Be Dat? |

Ofunaofu:But you can't leave the mode of transmission of results to INEC? Oga the point Akpabio made was valid . What was the outcome of Waec and jamb e examinations then . Can you remember what happened for just only Exam for view students compared to the whole country election. The logic of transmission of results should be left to INEC in order not to expose its mechanism to the Attackers and elections manipulator . It will happen one day but my opinion is that it is too early BCS we lack infrastructures and Technology to manifest it. |

Zionmdde:You are not up to date with the proposals of the obidients. Now I see. 2km from the polling unit? Did you know the meaning of "In real time?" or "upload FROM the polling unit?" Deal with that clause first before u start with this ur 2km. To the issues. In 2023, INEC promised heaven and earth on the BIVAS. When it had a glitch, you people didn't spare them for the other good things. You rubbished everything, blamed the INEC chair, and the then president. What was INEC's fault? They OVER PROMISED. NOW. You want the government to over promise that they can deliver so that when it fails again you people will have something to capitulate on to alleged rigging. E no go work. No Be Juju Be Dat? |

Hedonisco:So, we should excuse PDP and put all the blames on APC because you hate them abi? Is that how it works? So, if another party enter in few years time make we no talk of APC again ba, make we put all the blames on the new party in government? Where did you keep your sense? No Be Juju Be Dat? |

immaculatesense:Nothing like obidients here, what is right is right, what is fair is fair For your info, there is nothing like real time in reality. There is always a lag, even the live football you watch has a lag. Real time transmission means the voters get to witness the results the electoral officers showed them being uploaded and the voters are able to view their results immediately they are uploaded. Does it matter if it is done a km away from the polling unit? How human beings like you oppose something so transparent needs to be studied. Or don't you guys like progress at all ? Na wa ooo |

Network is not working in 9 states due to insecurity, but bandits are posting their activities online in those states and contacting the families of their victims to pay ransom through phones... |

immaculatesense:Stop supporting nonsense. Imagine using 10 years ago as benchmark for your retrogressive ideas. Besides, it is better to disenfranchise a few in order to endure a credible process. If I had my way, only people with WAEC/NECO and above will be allowed to vote. We can't keep being held back by illiterates who happen to be the ones who make it possible for misfits like Buhari and Tinubu to sneak into power. |

Zionmdde:Fool's paradise is what I see here. The fact that we know that there is global warming, why can't the UN and other superpowers should shut down all the industries emitting carbons all over the world and see whether e no go hurt everyone. Because they are aware of that, they are phasing it out little by little The fact that we want out election to be perfect, doesn't mean that we should put all the woods into fire once na. There was a glitch on the IREV in the last election, let's solve that first, that will be a progress. We need to one thing and succeed first before trying another one. That is logic and not emotion. On your lag. You want to compare traveling 2km to a lag of few seconds? Upload d real time from the polling unit means that it has to show on the IREV and the voter will confirm it before the presiding officer will leave the polling unit and call the election over. Go study the debates and come back abeg. No Be Juju Be Dat? |

Hedonisco:So, people who are not educated but grow your tomato, carrot, pepper etc do not matter ba? Now I see how myopic you are. Even the UD cannot pass that as an electoral law. It means you are disenfranchising over 60% of our people and promoting Bureaucracy and not democracy that gives everyone equal right and freedom irrespective of class. THAT IS MYOPIC AMD SO LOW OF YOU. NO BE JUJU BE DAT? |

I don't have to know how technology works to use it. I don't have to know how my smart phone works. I only have to know how to operate it. What have you taken time to delve in so far? Excuses and more excuses. You don't know what you are saying. Don't worry you are excused. I thought I was even arguing with a sane person! |

Lol.. do you know how often Banks networks go down - we IT team call it Network downtime. Year back I worked with an Internet provider that provided network to Banks and corps. Ditto with Telcos with network and internet down atimes. I’ve said it repeatedly Nigeria haven’t yet gotten to full Network/security level that will assure 💯 uptime. Zionmdde: |
