ALTERNATEID:I doubt if you guys really want Nigeria to be great , or only want to sing Hossana towards direction, your preferred man asked you to dance towards? If you don't pity yourself, can't you pity your unborn generations? Always surporting or attacking a particular course is not good for your own personality as human beings. The advanced economies where all of you struggling to migrate to, their forefathers put a good system in place, that is the results you are seeing today. The current people you are supporting will leave one day, what will happen to country wen they leave, without good legacies that will catapult the nation to prosperity? |

Fiscus105:That's what most of you guys do here on nairaland. That's why it's difficult to hold discussions about how this country should develop. Everything is about praising or denouncing , even if it means taking absurd positions to do so |

No amount of transparency or electoral reform will ever satisfy perennial wailers and political losers. They allege rigging when they lose and celebrate the system when they win. There’s no point engaging bad losers who can’t even win their polling unit. |

They should remove the manually from it. They will still use it to cheeat because the officials will use an excuses that there is no network, that's why they used it manually. |

Manual transmission should be terminated. What we want is Electronic transmission, whether APC likes it or not. |
| Re: Senate Adopts Electronic And Manual Mode Of Transmission Of Election Results by michoim(m): 2:11pm On Feb 10 |
This is tricky. On the election day, the areas, APC, have mapped out, will be declared by INEC as manual mode with flimsy excuses of why they could not do electronic...THIS IS UNACCEPABLE |

ALTERNATEID:Oga, add back the Lagos and rivers result as collated and Peter Obi would he the president I Now support Tinubu because of the Lagos -calabar highway but truth be told , Obi trounce him in Lagos by a wider margin than was reported ... We saw videos of election officers changing figures |

What's electronic and manual? Is it not same thing that they've been saying? |
| Re: Senate Adopts Electronic And Manual Mode Of Transmission Of Election Results by Gajagojo: 2:14pm On Feb 10 |
michoim:This is totally naive Rigging has little to do with transmission It is about. Violence , vote buying intimidation Intimidation does not show in transmission but was prevalent in the SE This legislation cannot stop that |

SmartPolician:They are doing everything you mentioned here today except the “input the data to the website” part. If that is strictly what you want, then the language should have said that easily. It’s a good thing to key it in because it saves time from having to read images at least for citizens. But this still does not mean real-time except if most people no understand the concept of real-time. What are you guys protesting for against please? |

Still playing with words. It is electronic transmission or nothing. |
| Re: Senate Adopts Electronic And Manual Mode Of Transmission Of Election Results by energy37: 2:16pm On Feb 10 |
Sense left you a long time ago. The Senate did not change anything concerning the way election were conducted in 2023. The same thing was repeated last week and today. The foolish protesters know full well that they have plenty fellow fools to join them to trend over nothing. positivelord: |

ALTERNATEID:It is a good development that will bring more credibility to the results. The problem however is, anyone can actually claim that there is no network and then refuse to transmit the results electronically. This is not about Atiku or Obi or any body. See it as an improvement to our existing electoral process that will improve the credibility of the outcome. |
| Re: Senate Adopts Electronic And Manual Mode Of Transmission Of Election Results by LegendHero(op): 2:17pm On Feb 10 |
Nodogragra4me:What’s your proof that Obi trounce him in Lagos and Rivers? Atiku came second in that election, are you saying Atiku rigged Obi out or what logic are you using to say Obi won? Obi wey no get up to 5% in most core Northern state na em you wan make e win presidential election? If not for Atiku taking Tinubu votes in the North, if na only Obi and Tinubu for 2023, Obi go lose for earth, Ojukwu go hear for heaven. |
| Re: Senate Adopts Electronic And Manual Mode Of Transmission Of Election Results by storm001(m): 2:18pm On Feb 10 |
This is not what the people are yearning for. We want mandatory electronic transmission of result not manual and electronic. The law is still the same thing and no amendment was made. |
I Oppose Senate’s Decision To Combine Electronic And Manual Transmission — Atiku • Senate Adopts Nwoye's Bill, Jobless Graduates To Get Paid While Learning Skills • Senate Adopts Direct Primaries for political parties in all elective positions • 2 • 3 • 4
