I don't have any problem with him advertising whatever he wants to advertise. But talking down on actual friends of the couple that are making sacrifices for the couple is just taking it too far.

This is how we encourage nonsense and when the whole thing backfires in future, we start blaming everyone but ourselves. If you don't have friends, why fake it? But that's not even my problem. My problem is a service provider getting paid for the event has no damn right to disrespect the couple's friends just because they want to advertise whatever service. If this was coming from the couple, I won't have a problem with it because they have the proper perspective.

I've attended a wedding without bridesmaids. Just the couple, Chief Bridesmaid and Bestman danced. They later danced with cousins and other family members. It was still fun filled.
