AMINDA:The problem is, Oyo politics is more complicated than just any state, there's Alafin, there's Olubadan, and other power houses. In Oyo, negotiation is the only way, not brute force, I can tell you for a fact, whoever Makinde recommend will lose, if he wants his benefactor to win he will have to make concessions, support the choice of some power houses against his intended interest in the Presidency, maybe not openly. |

Alusiizizi:It doesn't matter.... You just know that Obi and Atiku and all those hands join together would be defeated by Tinubu.... They would go to Court again as usual ..... |

b[quote author=AMINDA post=138442779]According to Agbadorians, Obi Cubana, Zenco and Cubana Chiefpriest will deliver the Southeast to Tinubu but Seyi Makinde cannot deliver Ibadan to ADC. Tinubu's top-down approach instead of a bottom-up will cost him dearly in 2027. When shady characters and people with questionable wealth start pledging support to Tinubu in exchange for access and legitimacy of their ill-gotten possessions, it is not a flex. It's desperation. Anyways, you know what they say about birds of a feather.[/quote. Top down approach has been the hall mark of Nigeria election. It will not change until there is a viable opposition. APC was a viable opposition with the combo of Buhari + other parties. ADC ..LP etc as at today are simply bunch of unserious opposition with no strategy. |

Svoboda:Ofcos he knows he can't get 25%. He just wants to get more votes than last elections. The last elections, he got less than 3% in the south east...if he can get 10% this time around, it would help him in the grand scheme of things. |

Have you heard of the words "chop and clean mouth" that's what many voters are waiting to do on that day |
| Re: Tinubu Winning South East With A Landslide by tincityboy(m): 2:35pm On Feb 12 |
Whether they are lining up or not doesn't matter ... What matters is the north will decide who will win from the south , whether na obi or tinubu.. If Atiku go against the zoning , Asiwarju should just wait for our votes at jibowu park , we will waybill it to him from the east , .. Either Obi gets the ADC ticket or we waybill the whole old eastern region vote lagos like any other goods ..This is not Jonathan era .. Igbos might need the presidency but we can't sacrifice Southern presidency for VP role , Obi knows better , Svoboda: |
| Re: Tinubu Winning South East With A Landslide by GUNITGuy: 2:38pm On Feb 12 |
Riskymarvelous:He got that because of the fear of the Muslim/Muslim ticket which Tinubu as created more trust .... He won't get that this time ....He's not going to win Lagos or Abuja ... No one thought Tinubu would tackle the Northern Oligarchs holding this country in Bondage like this ... He really thought them he holds the ace to victory... Obi even risk not being on the Ballot with the way ADC is going ....Now there's a possibility of a makinde Deputizing an Atiku ...that might not work too .... The Fulani image in Nigeria would go against Atiku and the likes of kwankwaso it's already a problem for them already |

cr7lomo:Obi Cubana and Cubana Chief Priest are not illiterates, they graduated from the university before venturing into businesses. I don't know much about Zenco. Quit seeing successful Igbo businessmen as illiterates, that is very poor and obnoxious assumption. I am an Igbo business man, a small company owner with sizeable investments in some states and I am a graduate, a masters degree holder and a PhD in view student that also tried to study law but if you see me in real life, you will think I didn't even finish Primary school because I don't form educated in public. When I was fully in Lagos, most of my Church members who are mostly Yorubas always thought I didn't go to school but funny enough, I am more educated than even our Zonal Pastor and others on a low key but because I am Igbo and not working with government or working in a Bank or for one company, they always assume that maybe I didn't go to school. And same applies to several Igbo business owners you see in the markets; most are graduates, that was why Nigerian media and Yoruba controlled government of today were shocked that a screw driver seller in Onitsha Main Market influenced US government to classify Nigeria as a country of particular concern, they will be shocked to discover that that screw driver seller is a PhD holder, thats how we Igbos of our time roll. Now back to the topic, Tinubu is wasting his time buying up rich Igbo people to promote him in Southeast. Igbos are very Republican in nature, we believe and follow our individual conviction as individuals and therefore we judge candidates based on their performance and how good and humane they are to the people. All that Tinubu needed to win Igbos without any celebrity or political figure is to be kind, be humane, stop being tribalistic and divisive with his policies and stop pushing Lagos state government to continue to churn out anti-Igbo policies in a desperate effort to clamp down on Igbos and reduce their influence in Lagos. |

Funny enough, none of them will deliver their polling units to the APC in the presidential election comes 2027. The presidential election results from that zone for the APC has always been in binary numbers - 01, 10, etc. Anyway, congratulations to these men for getting their shares of the national cake 🍰. |

AMINDA:The way this princeoflagos is crying on every topic that has Tinubu is funny....Not as if your constant ranting, blabbing and nay saying will have any impact whatsoever on the election. i am of the opinion that it is either you are jobless or being paid for this your wandering from topic to topic that has Tinubu is your main job. However, it is funny how you think that any opposition will beat Tinubu...Oppositions are showing signs of confusion by the day.. Even though, a meaningful opposition is good for democracy but what we have right now is a confused sets of power launderers and mongers with no vision and direction.. Right now APC is both the ruling party and opposition. The election will be won with a very huge landslide |

Something governors cannot do you think it is these aza men that will do it? Una too dey take Igbo people play. ![]() These guys are doing it to protect their azaman sources of income. Deep down they know they wont even win in their wards if the election is free and fair. |
| Re: Tinubu Winning South East With A Landslide by Mrexcell(m): 2:45pm On Feb 12 |
Anyone rushing into conclusion doesn't even know anything about igboland these guys are just experienced igbo business men that are trying to secure their businesses and possibly get more federal govt patronage or contracts we have seen this repeatedly during elections. They are less than 1 percent of igbo population i can bet with any amount that these guys can't influence anything for tinibu on election day in igboland. |
| Re: Tinubu Winning South East With A Landslide by crazygod(m): 2:45pm On Feb 12 |
Truth is in a clean, free and fair election, a normal human being will not vote for Tinubu. It's just not possible. All this propaganda is to what end? ![]() |

Ebeano49:You are wrong, very wrong. Zenco is not an Aza man, to and read about him, all his life has been about trading. Trading can make you super rich if you are lucky to spot an evergreen product and have a genuine source. And these guys started trading far back before the Advent of internet now spoiling commodity trading. Back then, traders determined the price and they made over 1000% profit on their products. I don't know about Cubana Chief Priest, so I won't comment on that |
| Re: Tinubu Winning South East With A Landslide by tincityboy(m): 2:49pm On Feb 12 |
Stop saying this ,Don't you see whats going in ADC and north.. If Atiku gets ADC ticket , Obi might be forced to drop his ambition , APC has strong politicians in the east now , na block vote for jagaban... Abi you expect the north to return to power after just 4years??.. YesDaddyTill203: |
