Fayose Gives Atiku 48 Hours To Disavow Paul Ibe’s Press Statement by seunmsg(op): 10:00pm On Feb 12

I saw the response of one Paul Ibe, one of the Media Aides to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, to my release on what transpired at his (Atiku) meeting in Minna, with Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, and I can't but be amused.

However, because of my respect for Atiku, I will want to assume that he did not authorise the press statement and I will expect that after seeing it, he will within 48 hours, cause a rebuttal to be issued on it.

Should Atiku not publicly disown the statement within the next 48 hours, I will have no option but to spill more beans (the facilitors and executioners) of the Minna meeting, particularly what was said about Wike) and by then, I will be doing so without any atom of respect for him.

Till then, we keep our gunpowder dry.

All I sense is fear from the Agbadorian camp. They say Makinde cannot deliver Oyo to ADC and we agree but they somehow believe the 36 state governors will deliver their states to Tinubu. No be juju be that? Fayose can keep providing entertainment in his clownshow while real political horsetradings continue to take place. Agbadorians will try to put the betrayal tag on Makinde but they will fail. Tinubu never supported Obasanjo. Seyi owes him nothing!

Let me remind you that this was exactly how he warned Seyi Makinde when he was trying to play half smart. Today, Makinde is no longer hustling to be President but VP. Atiku better heed this warning or else... I saw Paul Ibe's rebuttal and I started wondering when Fayose started peddling rumors. Fayose deals with facts and figures.

The pride in Atiku will not make him disown Ibe's claim also the ego of Fayose will make him spill even more. Game on!

If Atiku's aide withdraw his statement, it will not only show weakness on the part of Atiku but also give credibility to Ayo Fayose's earlier gist. In other words, Atiku will indirectly confirm all Fayose said as true.

I don't think Atiku will order any withdrawal.

Also reacting to the judgment, its apparent beneficiary, Senator Sheriff, vowed to put in place a machinery that would not give room to people like Governors Nyesom Wike and Ayodele Fayose of Rivers and Ekiti states, respectively in any future arrangement in the party.
