A member of the House of Representative, Hon. Abdullahi El-Rasheed (Bala Kelly), has defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gombe State.

The lawmaker, who represented Dukku/Nafada Federal Constituency, announced his defection to the APC, when he visited Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya at the Gombe State Liaison Office in Abuja.

A statement by Governor Yahaya’ spokesman, Ismaila Uba Misilli, said during the visit Hon. El-Rasheed formally presented to the governor his APC membership card, which he obtained from his ward in Dukku Local Government Area during the ongoing e-registration and revalidation exercise.

The lawmaker attributed his decision to join the APC to Governor Yahaya’s progressive leadership, people-oriented policies and visible development strides across Gombe State, as well as the reform-driven agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

I already said it 2 days ago more people ill troops to apc.

I said after the election result electronic shit bruhaha more will join apc infact I said before 2027 election likely only apga will remain as opposition becas we will because of obi kill adc as we killed LP because of him. More senators and governors are on their way to apc and I said our next target is either obi wife or one of his siblings will join apc to teach him a lesson.

So even House of Representatives members too have access to the National treasury to steal money! I never knew. What about Councillors at the Local Government that have all defected? Are Councillors too stealing money from the National Treasury and are now afraid of EFCC and DSS?
